Azerbaijan targets car transporting Armenian journalists

Violating all the norms of international humanitarian law, the Azerbaijani side continues targeting the civilian population and journalists performing their professional duties. The adversary has today shelled a car transporting a group of journalists.
It targeted the cars of the journalists who returned from Mataghis. Armenian News – NEWS.am special corresponenst, who was in one of the cars, reported that the Azerbaijani shell fell 20-30 m away form the cars. Fortunately, nobody has been injured.
“We were returning from Mataghis. Everything was all right when returning, but the adversary had targeted our cars. We managed to move forward only with the help of the Defense Army,” our correspondent said.
Yesterday the Azerbaijani army again shelled the city of Martakert from artillery weapons. The Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, together with other reporters, came under fire in Martakert. According to the agency’s correspondent, Azerbaijani artillery opened targeted fire on the residential area and especially the school.
