«ԼՂՀ նախագահի, մամուլի խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը երեկ պատասխանեց մեր մի քանի հարցերին։

- Պարոն Բաբայան, գիշերը հակառակորդը «Սմերչ» Է կիրառել։ Կա՞ն վնասված բնակավայրեր։

-   Ինչքան գիտեմ՝ կիրառվել Է սահմանամերձ շրջաններում, բայց ավերածությունների և կորուստների մասին տեղեկություններ չունենք։ Կարելի Է ասել, որ չկան այդպիսի կորուստներ։ Մարդկային կորուստներ չունենք։

- Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանռթյան նախարարությունը կրկին սպառնացել է հրթիռային հարված հասցնել ԼՂՀ մայրաքաղաք Ստեփանակերտին: Նախօրեին ևս եղել էր նման սպառնալիք։ Ստեփանակերտը պաշտոնապես արձագանքելո՞ւ է այս սպառնալիքներին։

-   Ադրբեջանն ահաբեկչական պետության Է, բոլորս գիտենք։ Կարծում եմ, նման հայտարարություններից հետո Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությանը անմիջապես պետք Է մտցնել ահաբեկիչների ցուցակի մեջ, որովհետև սա ոչ այլ ինչ Է, քան ահաբեկչության մասին հայտարարության և մոլագարություն։ Այլ կերպ հնարավոր չէ բացատրել։ Մենք տեսել ենք ինչ է ռմբակոծությունը, Բաքուն չի տեսել։ Այդ մասին պետք է հիշի նաև ադրբեջանական կողմը։

-  Երեկ հայտարարեցիք, որ «Իսլամական պետության» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման զինյալներ են կռվում Ադրբեջանի զինվորների շարքերում։ Այս տեղեկատվությունը հաստատող փաստեր կա՞ն։

- Մենք ունենք հիմքեր այդպիսի կարծիք հայտնելու, որովհետև բախումների ժամանակ մեր զինվորները առերեսվել են այնպիսի մարդկանց հետ, որոնք խոսում էին արաբերեն, թուրքերեն և որոնց զգեստը տարբերվամ էր։ Հիմք ունենք պնդելու, որ այդ ահաբեկիչներն այստեղ են։ Ավելին կան որոշ տեղեկություններ, որ քանի որ Արցախի սահմանամերձ ադրբեջանական շրջաններում բնակչությունը գրեթե դատարկված է, փախել են պարզապես լքելով իրենց տարածքները, գրոհայինները այնտեղ մասսայական թալան են իրականացնում և կային նաև բախումներ այնտեղ մնացած բնակչության հետ, բռնաբարության, սպանության դեպքեր և այլն։ Սա բնական է, որովհետև ահաբեկիչները և վարձկանները ոչ օրենքի, ոչ բարոյական նորմերի հանդեպ հարգանք չունեն, նրանք զուրկ են բարոյական նորմերից։ Մանավանդ որ Ադրբեջանը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական առաջին պատերազմի ժամանակ օգտագործել է բազմաթիվ վարձկաններ և ահաբեկիչներ «գորշ գայլերի», աֆղանական մոջահեդների, չեչեն գրոհայինների, արաբական աշխարհի, ԱլՔաիդայի գրոհայինների։ Դա այն է, ինչ տեսել ենք»,–գրում է թերթը։
