Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի դուստրերը` Արզու և Լեյլա Ալիևաները, օֆշորային ընկերություն ունեն Բրիտանական Վիրջինյան կղզիներում, գրում է հեղինակավոր The Guardian պարբերականը` մանրամասնելով, որ այն հիմնելու հարցում Ալիևների ընտանիքին օգնել է լոնդոնյան Child & Child իրավաբանական ընկերությունը։

Ըստ աղբյուրի փոխանցման՝ անցած տարի հիմնված Exaltation Limited ընկերության սեփականատերերն են Ալիևի դուստրերը, ինչի մասին հայտնի է դարձել պանամական Mossack Fonseca իրավաբանական ընկերության գործունեության վերաբերյալ գաղտնի փաստաթղթերի արտահոսքից հետո։

Օրեր առաջ պայթած օֆշորային սկանդալին առնչվող փաստաթղթերում նշվում են բոլոր այն օֆշորային ընկերությունների անունները, որոնք ղեկավարվում են Ալիևների ընտանիքի ու նրանց մտերիմների կողմից։

Պարբերականը նկատում է, որ բազմամիլիոնանոց հարստություն ու անշարժ գույք կուտակած Ալիևա քույրերը 2015թ. օֆշորային նոր ընկերության հիմնման ժամանակ Child & Child-ի կողմից չեն ներկայացվել որպես Ադրբեջանի նախագահի դուստրեր: Դա արվել է այն պարզ պատճառով, որ օֆշորային ընկերության գործունության վրա ավելորդ ուշադրություն չսևեռվի։

Աղբյուրը մանրամասնում է, որ Exaltation Ltd-ի ակտիվների իրական արժեքը հայտնի չէ. փաստաթղթերում նշվում է խորհրդանշական «1 մլն դոլար»:

Նշվում է նաև, որ Ալիևի դուստրերից որևիցե մեկը, ինչպես նաև լոնդոնյան իրավաբանական ընկերությունը հրաժարվել են մեկնաբանություն տալ տվյալ հարցի շուրջ։

Ավելի վաղ Mossack Fonseca իրավաբանական ընկերության հիմնադիրներից մեկը հայտնել է ընկերության նյութերի «անօրինական հրապարակման մասին»։

Ընկերության տվյալների բազայի տեղեկության արտահոսքի արդյունքում ԶԼՄ-ներին հայտնի է դարձել մի շարք համաշխարհային առաջնորդների և նրանց մտերիմների` գումարների լվացման և հարկերից խուսափելու սխեմաների մասին:

Մասնավորապես՝ Լրագրողական հետաքննությունների միջազգային կոնսորցիումի` ICIJ-ի (International Consortium of Investigative Journalists) լրագրողների մոտ են հայտնվել օֆշորների վերաբերյալ մի շարք գաղտնի փաստաթղթեր, որոնցում շոշափվում են Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի ու նրա բարեկամների անունները։

Լրագրողները պարզել են, որ Ալիևը գրանցված է օֆշորներում` ոսկու հանքավայրերում ու լոնդոնյան անշարժ գույքում իր ունեցած մասնաբաժինները քողարկելու համար։
