Nicki Minaj Confirms One More Time That She's Not Engaged to Meek Mill

Nicki Minaj stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday to talk about her role in Barbershop: The Next Cut, but mostly she talked about her relationship with Meek Mill, or as she refers to him, "This boy that likes me." Ellen asked her if the giant rock she's been sporting is an engagement ring, but according to Nicki, it's not. "I have two rings from this boy that likes me," she explained. "He said that that's my second ring and that if I get a third ring that that would be the engagement ring." Meek Mill likes to buy expensive jewelry, is the underlying moral of this story.

Naturally Ellen followed up by asking if Nicki's ready to get engaged, but Nicki, who's in the past kept her relationships very private, said she wasn't sure. "We're still figuring each other out," she said. "And in fact, I don't even want to say I'm in a relationship anymore. Because I think when people hear that, they go to the mean place." The mean place involves strangers commenting on Instagram and Twitter that Nicki and Meek must not have spent Valentine's Day together because Nicki didn't post any photos of her gifts. "Meanwhile, we were really in bed all day on Valentine's Day," Nicki told Ellen. 

Later, Nicki took questions from commenters on Facebook Live, including "When are you gonna produce a little Nicki?" To that Nicki replied, "When I walk down a little aisle and wear a little white dress." She also said that she regrets her public feuds "all the time," because "I'm a sweet person and I don't wanna be mean to people." That's why that boy likes her.
