 Ապրիլի 7-ին ՀՀ ՊՆ ԲԿՄԱ մարզադահլիճում կայացած 2 խաղերով ավարտվել է Հայաստանի վոլեյբոլի բարձրագույն խմբի առաջնության առաջին փուլը, որի արդյունքներով առաջատարը «Ստեփանակերտ» թիմն է: 

Հայաստանի վոլեյբոլի ֆեդերացիան տեղեկացնում է, որ ապրիլի 2-ից մեկնարկել էր Հայաստանի վոլեյբոլի բարձրագույն խմբի 2 016 թ.-ի առաջնության առաջին՝ գարնանային մրցափուլը, որին մասնակցում էին 5 թիմեր:

Արցախի «Ստեփանակերտ» թիմը խաղային առաջին 4 օրերին առավելության հասավ իր բոլոր մրցակիցների հանդեպ: Առաջին փուլից հետո 3 հաղթանակ իր հաշվին ունի «ՖԻՄԱ» թիմը, որը վերջին՝ 5-րդ խաղային օրը մեծ առավելության հաղթեց «Դպրոցականների հավաքական» թիմին: Խաղային վերջին օրվա երկրորդ դիմակայությունը՝ «Դինամո-Նոր-Նորք» - «Գյումրի», ավարտվեց գյումրեցիների պարտությամբ, որը դարձավ առաջնության 1-ին փուլի միակ հաղթանակ չտոնած թիմը՝ եզրափակելով մրցաշարային աղյուսակը:

«Առաջին մրցափուլում հաղթելը դեռ չի նշանակում, թե տվյալ թիմը արդեն հաղթել է նաև ամբողջ առաջնությունը: Վոլեյբոլի բարձրագույն խմբի առաջնության երկրորդ մրցափուլը տեղի կունենա հոկտեմբերին՝ աշնանը, այնպես որ այդ ժամանակ էլ կորոշվի առաջնության վերջնական առաջատարը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Հայաստանի վոլեյբոլի ֆեդերացիայի գլխավոր քարտուղար Կարեն Ասմարյանը՝ հավելելով, որ Հայաստանի առաջնության հաղթողը հնարավորություն կստանա երկիրը ներկայացնելու եվրոպական մրցաշարերում, որոնց մասնակցելու համար բավականին մեծ ֆինանսակ ան ներդրումներ են անհրաժեշտ լինում:

Հայաստանի վոլեյբոլի բարձրագույն խմբի առաջնության գարնանային մրցափուլն այս տարի տևեց 6 օր՝ ապրիլի 2-ից 7-ը, որի ընթացքում մեկ օր՝ ապրիլի 6-ին, թիմերը հանգստանալու հնարավորություն էին ստացել: Վոլեյբոլի տղամարդկանց բարձրագույն խմբի առաջնության գարնանային մրցափուլի առաջին 3 և վերջին խաղային օրերին հանդիպումներն անցկացվել են ՀՀ ՊՆ ԲԿՄԱ մարզադահլիճում, իսկ 4-րդ խաղային օրը հանդիպումները կայացել են Հայաստանի պետական տնտեսագիտական համալսարանի մարզադահլիճում:

Հինգ խաղային օրերից հետո առաջատարը Արցախի «Ստեփանակերտ» թիմն է, որը չորս հանդիպում է անցկացրել` տոնելով 4 հաղթանակ: Երեք հաղթանակ է տոնել «ՖԻՄԱ», 2-ը՝ «Դպրոցականների հավաքական» թիմը, 1 հաղթանակ ունի «Դինամո-Նոր-Նորքը», իսկ ահա «Գյումրին»  դեռևս միայն պարտվել է:

Ըստ Հայաստանի վոլեյբոլի ֆեդերացիայի գլխավոր քարտուղարի՝ առաջնության ընթացքում վատ տպավորություն չթողեց ընտրական փուլի արգելքը հաղթահարած «Դպրոցականների հավաքականը», որը բավականին փորձ կուտակեց նաև Հայաստանի 2016 թ.-ի առաջնության առաջին փուլի ընթացքում: «Հուլիսին հենց այս թիմը պետք է մասնակցի Դպրոցականների աշխարհի առաջնությանը՝ փորձելով հնարավորին չափ բարձր պահել հայկական վոլեյբոլի պատիվը»:
