Ռուս քաղաքագետ, միջազգային հարաբերությունների ռուսական խորհրդի փորձագետ Սերգեյ Մարկեդոնովը այսօր հրավիրված մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ հեռուստակամուրջի միջոցով ասաց, որ ապրիլի առաջին օրերին ղարաբաղաադրբեջանական շփման գծում տեսան էսկալացիա, ռազմական բռնություն, բայց ոչ էական փոփոխություն քաղաքական գործընթացներում:

«Չճանաչվեց Արցախի անկախությունը, նրա կարգավիճակը որևէ կերպ չփոփոխվեց, պահպանվեց Մինսկի խմբի ձևաչափը, որը մամուլի ասուլիսներ ու հայտարարություններ անում է անում: Էսկալացիան քաղաքական կոշտ փոփոխությունների չհանգեցրեց: Մենք կարող ենք խոսել այն մասին, որ փորձ է արվում փորք-ինչ փոփոխել «ստատուս քվոն», նույնիսկ փոխել չէ, շոշափել թե ինչ աստիճանի այն կարող է փոփոխությունների ենթարկվել: Սա նման է պլաստիրինի է, երբ վերցնում ես մի կտոր ու այն ձգում ես մի կողմ, հետո մի ուրիշ»,- ասաց նա:

Սերգեյ Մարկեդոնովը նաև նշեց, որ անհրաժեշտություն չկա խորանալ հին ու նոր փաստաթղթերում, որպեսզի հասկանան՝ «ստատուս քվոն» ձեռնտու չէ Ադրբեջանին, ինչպես նրանք հայտարարել են բազմիցս տարբեր մակարդակներով:

«Հայաստանի համար Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ներկայիս կարգավիճակը ավելի բարենպաստ է, քանի որ ժամանակը աշխատում է Երևանի օգտին, չնայած կան տնտեսական զարգացման հետ կապված խնդիրներ, միգրացիոն խնդիրներ և այլն»,- ասաց նա:

Ռուս քաղաքագետը նշեց, որ ԼՂ-ի հարցում ամենամեծ հետաքրքրությունն ունի Ռուսաստանը, քանի որ ամենամոտն է տարածաշրջանին, ի տարբերություն ԱՄՆ-ի ու ԵՄ-ի:
