Ադրբեջանը 2016թ-ի ապրիլի 2-ին աննախադեպ հարձակում է նախաձեռնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հետ շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով: Այս հարձակումը հանգեցրել է տասնյակ մահերի, այդ թվում և քաղաքացիական անձանց ու մի երեխայի:

Այս մասին նշվում է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտում իրավիճակի սրման մասին Բասկերի երկրի խորհրդարանի ընդունած բանաձևում: Փաստաթղթում խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնվում 1994թ-ից ի վեր Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հակամարտության գոտում հրադադարի վատթարագույն խախտման առնչությամբ և ցավակցություն է հայտնվում հակամարտության զոհերի կապակցությամբ:

Բասկերի երկրի խորհրդարանը ողջունել է 2016թ-ի ապրիլի 5-ի կրակի դադարեցման պայմանավորվածությունը և հույս հայտնել, որ այն կպահպանվի:

Կոչ է արվում նաև ստեղծել 2012թ-ից ի վեր Մինսկի խմբի կողմից առաջարկվող հրադադարի խախտումների հետաքննության միջազգային մեխանիզմ, ինչպես նաև մերժել ուժի կիրառումը հակամարտության կարգավորման գործում:
