Իրանի եւ Թուրքիայի համագործակցությունը կարեւոր քայլ է իսլամական միասնության ուղղությամբ: Այդ մասին հայտնել է Իրանի նախագահ Հասան Ռոհանին Անկարայում իր թուրք գործընկեր Թայյիփ Էրդողանի հետ մամուլի ասուլիսին: 

«Մեր համագործակցությունը շատ կարեւոր է իսլամական միասնականության համար: Երկու տարվա ընթացքում Թուրքիան է նախագահելու Իսլամական համագործակցության կազմակերպությունում, եւ մենք կկարողանանք լավ համագործակցել, նախ եւ առաջ պաղեստինյան խնդրի շուրջ: Մեզ համար սկզբունքային չէ` մենք սուննի ենք, թե շիա, կարեւորը մահմեդական լինելն է: Սեր եւ եղբայրություն. սա է իսկական իսլամը, որը պիտի ցույց տանք աշխարհին», — հայտնել է Ռոհանին:

Նա հավելել է, որ չնայած Թուրքիայի եւ Իրանի միջեւ տարաձայնություններին, երկու երկիրն էլ պատրաստ են աշխատել տարբեր ուղղություններով: 

Էրդողանն իր հերթին հայտնել է, որ Անկարան եւ Թեհրանը պայմանավորվել են վերադառնալ բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների եւ բարձրացնել երկու երկրի միջեւ քաղաքական երկխոսության մակարդակը: 

«Մենք Իրանի հետ 22 մլրդ դոլարի առեւտրաշրջանառություն ունեինք, Իրանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների սահմանումից հետո այն նվազել է մինչեւ   10 մլրդ, մենք ուզում ենք պատժամիջոցների վերացման հետ կապված` այդ ցուցանիշը մինչեւ  30 մլրդ-ի հասցնել»,  - ասել է Էրդողանը:  

«Մեզ համար ամենակարեւորը Սիրիայում եւ Իրաքում արյունահեղությունը դադարեցնելն է: Մենք համամիտ ենք այդ հարցի շուրջ, չնայած Թուրքիայի եւ Իրանի միջեւ որոշ տարաձայնություններ կան», — ամփոփել է նա, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»:
