Ցեղասպանությունը մարդկության դեմ հանցագործություն է, և նման ոճրագործությունները կանխարգելելու համար լուրջ քայլեր են հարկավոր: «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ ֆորումի ընթացքում այս մասին ասաց Ցեղասպանագետների միջազգային ասոցացիայի նախագահ Էնդրյու Վուլֆորդը: «Իրականում գիտնականներն այս ուղղությամբ լուրջ քայլեր ձեռնարկում են, սակայն դա բավական չէ: Ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելման համար պետությունները պետք է քաղաքական կամք դրսևորեն»,- նշեց Վուլֆորդը:

Նա հավելեց, որ ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելման ուղղությամբ ոչինչ չանելը շատ վտանգավոր է և կարող է ծառայել նման ոճրագործությունների կրկնության համար: «Սա պետք է գիտակցեն բոլորը, որ այս ուղղությամբ ոչինչ չանելը շատ վտանգավոր է: Հարկավոր է քաղաքական կամք դրսևորել և էական քայլեր ձեռնարկել ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելման համար»,- ասաց նա:

Ցեղասպանագետների միջազգային ասոցիացիայի նախագահն ուրախությամբ նշեց, որ «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ համաժողովը լավ հարթակ է ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելման համար անհրաժեշտ քայլերը քննարկելու համար: «Այստեղ հավաքված են շատ գիտնականներ, և ցանկալի է լսել, թե նրանք ինչ մտքեր ու գաղափարներ ունեն»,- եզրափակեց Վուլֆորդը:

Երևանում մեկնարկել է «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ ֆորումը: Այն հիմնականում կենտրոնացված կլինիցեղասպանություն վերապրած կենդանի անձանց և փախստականների խնդիրների վրա: Գլոբալ ֆորումն ունենալու է 4 հիմնական բաժիններ: Տեղիկունենան նիստեր, իսկ յուրաքանչյուր նիստի ավարտին կլինի հարցուպատասխան, որի ընթացքում մասնակիցները կկարողանան իրենց հուզողհարցեըը տալ զեկուցողներին: Փակման բաժնում էլ նախատեսված են մասնակիցների ելույթները: Գլոբալ ֆորումը լուսաբանելու համար 70-ից ավելարտասահմանյան լրատվամիջոցներ են հավատարմագրվել:
