 Ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների կողմից մեր օրերում իրականացվող գործողությունները 20-րդ դարի առաջին ցեղասպանության անպատժելիության հետևանքն են: Այս մասին  ասաց Կամբոջայի տեղեկատվական կենտրոնի (DC-Cam) գործադիր տնօրեն, «Sleuk Rith» ինստիտուտի հիմնադիր և Խմեր Ռուժի «մահվան դաշտերում» վ երապրած Յոուք Չհանգը:

«Այդ է պատճառը, որ մենք պետք է սկսենք սովորել անցյալից, և դրա ժամանակն արդեն եկել է: Համաշխարհային ցեղասպանագիտական կրթության հիմնումը կնպաստի խաղաղությանն ու բարգավաճմանը, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանին կդարձնի առաջամարտիկ ցեղասպանագիտական կրթության ոլորտում: Նման կրթական ծրագրի հիմնումը ի ցույց կդնի Հայաստանի հանձնառությունը մարդու իրավունքների և ցեղասպանության կոնվենցիայի հարցում, ինչպես նաև ջանքերը` պատասխանելու և կանխելու զանգվածային բռնությունը»,- նշեց Յոուք Չհանգը:

Նրա համոզմամբ` այժմ մարդկությունը կանգնած է կարևոր որոշումներ ընդունելու շեմին: «Մի կողմից՝  մենք կարող ենք պայքարել բռնի ծայրահեղականության դեմ, ինչպես Փարիզում տեղի ուենցած հարձակումները, որոնք իրականացվել են անցյալում մեզ հայտնի տակտիկայով և ռազմավարությամբ: Ուժեղացված անվտանգության և անհրաժեշտ օրինական մեխանիզմների ձեռնարկումը թվում է, թե անհրաժեշտ ձեռնարկումներ են մեր` ավելի վտանգավոր դարձող աշխարհի համար: Այդուհանդերձ, կան նաև բռնի ծայրահեղականությանը հակադրվող այլ մոտեցումներ ևս, որոնք մենք նույնպես պետք է քննարկեն ք»,- ասաց Չհանգը:

Նա նշեց, որ թեպետ ցեղասպանագիտական կրթությունը չի կարող լուծում լինել բռնի ծայրահեղականության, ցեղասպանության կամ զանգվածային կոտորածների դեմ, սակայն այն անչափելի դիվիդենտներ և մեծ հնարավորություններ կարող է ընձեռել:

«Ցեղասպանությունն ու զանգվածային կոտորածները մարդկային քաղաքակրթության նման հին են: Թեպետ մենք մեծ առաջընթաց ենք գրանցել պատժման ոլորտում, սակայն ավելի շատ բան ունենք անելու արդարության, կանխարգելման և փոխհատուցման հարցում»,- նշել է Չհանգը: Նրա խոսքով` թեպետ ցեղասպանագիտական կրթությունը համադարման չէ մարդկության համար, սակայն այն անհրաժեշտ չափով չի դիտարկվել որպես մի միջավայր, որտեղ հնարավոր կլինի վերացնել ծայրահեղ բռնության հետ կապված տարածաշրջանային և գլոբալ խնդիրը: «Ցեղասպանագիտական կրթությունը մեզ հնարավորություն է ընձեռում հասցեագրել բռնի ծայրահեղականության հարցում ամենադյուրըմբռնող հատվածին` երիտասարդությանը»,- եզրափակեց  Կարմիր կհմերների «մահվան դաշտերում» վերապրած Յոուք Չհանգը:
