Այսօր՝ լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ, ՀՅԴ Հայ դատի և քաղաքական հարցերի գրասենյակի պատասխանատու Կիրո Մանոյանը, խոսելով Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանություն հանցագործության» գլոբալ ֆորումի և «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության մասին, դրական կարծիք հայտնելով ասաց, որ Հայաստանը պետք է դառնա ցեղասպանությունների դեմ պայքարի կենտրոն: «Ֆորումի մասնակիցները և ելույթները վկայում են այն մասին, որ Հայաստանը կարող է դառնալ այդպիսին, իսկ «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխությունը, որպես առաջին միջոցառում, բավականին հաջողված էր: Ճիշտ է, անցյալ տարվա լուրերի քանակը, որ միջազգային լրատվամիջոցներում կային, այս տարի չկան, բայց դա բնական է: Այս երկու միջոցառումների մասնակիցներին նկատի ունենալով` բավական լայն արձագանք եղավ: Ցանկալի է, որ այս երկու միջոցառումները շարունակվեն և դառնան ավանդական»,- ասաց Կիրո Մանոյանը:

Անդրադառնալով մի շարք պետությունների կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստը ընդունելուն՝ Կիրո Մանոյանը հույս հայտնեց, որ առաջիկայում Գերմանիան կմիանա այն պետությունների թվին, որոնք ճանաչել են Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: «Բունդեսթագի` 2005 թվականին ընդունած բանաձևը բավական լավն է իրականում, և հուսով եմ, որ այս տարվա հունիսին կայանալիք քննարկումների ընթացքում ճիշտ որոշում կորդեգրվի: Իսկ Օբամայի մասին ասեմ՝ ափսոս էր, որ նա իր ուղերձը ճիշտ չօգտագործեց: Ինչ-որ տեղ նաև վարկաբեկիչ էր նրա համար, որ վկայաբերում էր ուրիշին` Օբամա քաղաքացու ասածները, բայց իրականում չի ասում «ցեղասպանություն» բառը: Թե ինչո՞ւ չի ասում, չեմ հասկանում, որովհետև Թուրքիան էլի դժգոհեց, էլի բողոքեց, բայց տարին չի վերջացել, և Օբաման կարող է իր խոստումը կատարել»,- ասաց նա:

Պարոն Մանոյանը անդրադարձավ նաև Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանում օրերս հայ պատգամավոր Կարո Փայլանի ելույթին. «Այդ ելույթը ողջունելի փաստ է: Սակայն այդ քայլից հետո ես անձամբ մտահոգված եմ Կարո Փայլանի անվտանգությամբ: Սա վկայում է այն մասին, որ Թուրքիայի հայ համայնքում կա մի հատված, որ կարող է իր իրավունքները պաշտպանել»,- ասաց նա:
