Քուրդիստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության (ՔԱԿ) զինված թեւի` Քրդական համայնքների միության (ՔՀՄ) գործադիր խորհրդի համանախագահ Ջեմիլ Բայըքը հայտարարել է, որ եթե Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերը չդադարեցնեն ՔԱԿ-ի զինյալների դեմ իրենց ռազմական գործողությունները, ապա թուրք-քրդական բախումները միանշանակորեն կտարածվեն ամբողջ Թուրքայի տարածքով մեկ:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Կանդիլ լեռան ռազմաբազայում BBC-ին տված հարցազրույցում, որը պարբերականը հրապարակել է «ՔԱԿ-ը Թուրքիային զգուշացնում է երկարատեւ պատերազմի մասին» վերնագրով, Բայըքը մեկ անգամ եւս նշելով, որ իրենց նպատակը Թուրքիան մասնատելը չէ, այլ քրդական ինքնավարության ստեղծումը` չխախտելով Թուրքիայի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը, ասել է, որ իրենք պատրաստ են այդ հարցի շուրջ թուրքական իշխանությունների հետ գնալ բանակցությունների:

Բայըքը հայտարարել է, որ իրենք ոչ մի կապ չունեն Քուրդիստանի ազատության բազեներ (ՔԱԲ) կազմակերպության հետ, որը, ինչպես ներկայացնում են թուրքական ԶԼՄ-ները, ստանձնել է Անկարայում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության պատասխանատվությունը: Նա նաեւ կարծիք է հայտնել, որ ՔԱԲ-ը չի դադարեցնի իր գործողությունները, քանի որ «դրան նպաստում է Թուրքիայի վարած հակաքրդական քաղաքականությունը»:

Ջեմիլ Բայըքը չի թաքցրել, որ ԱՄՆ-ը Սիրիայում հակակառավարական ուժերի, հատկապես «Իսլամական պետություն» (ԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ կռվող քրդական Ժողովրդի պաշտպանության ուժերի (ԺՊՈւ) հետ համագործակցում է ՔԱԿ-ի հետ այդ հարցը համաձայնեցնելու արդյունքում:

«ԺՊՈւ-ն ԻՊ-ի դեմ կռվում է ԱՄՆ-ի ղեկավարությամբ կոալիցիոն ուժերի հետ համաձայնությամբ: Այդ պատճառով, ՔԱԿ-ի հրամանատարները  կոալիցիոն ուժերի հետ անուղղակի շփումների մեջ են գտնվում», -ասել է նա:
