«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Միանգամից երեք գեներալների պաշտոնանկության մասին երեկ հրապարակված հաղորդագրությունները կարծես ամպրոպ լինեին անամպ երկնքում: Սերժ Սարգսյանը պաշտոնանկ արեց պաշտպանության նախարարի տեղակալ-նյութատեխնիկական ապահովման դեպարտամենտի պետ Ալիկ Միրզաբեկյանին, ՀՀ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի հետախուզության վարչության պետ Արշակ Կարապետյանին եւ ՀՀ ԶՈՒ կապի զորքերի պետ-կապի եւ ավտոմատացված կառավարման համակարգերի վարչության պետ Կոմիտաս Մուրադյանին: Խնդիրն այն չէ, որ նշված գեներալները պաշտոնանկության արժանի չէին, ավելին՝ նրանք, ինչպես եւ ՀՀ պաշտոնյաների մեծամասնությունը, վաղուց պետք է պաշտոնանկ արված լինեին: Բայց հայաստանյան իրականությունն այլ է:

Այդ իրականության մեջ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության եւ գլխավոր շտաբի ղեկավար կազմի ներկայացուցիչները այնքան երկար են իրենց պաշտոններում, որ թվում է, թե նրանք ցմահ են նշանակված, եւ ինչ էլ ուզում է՝ անեն, միեւնույն է՝ շարունակելու են պաշտոնավարել: Նույն Ալիկ Միրզաբեկյանի, Արշակ Կարապետյանի եւ Կոմիտաս Մուրադյանի գործունեությանը եւ զինված ուժերին հատկացված միջոցների հաշվին հարստանալու մասին մամուլը բազմիցս է գրել: Բայց այդ հրապարակումները մնացել են անհետեւանք:

«Ժողովուրդ»-ի տեղեկություններով՝ վերը նշված գեներալների պաշտոնանկության հարցում որոշիչ դերակատարություն է ունեցել ՀՀ նախագահի վերահսկողական ծառայության կողմից ՀՀ ՊՆ-ում անցկացված ստուգման արդյունքները: Տեղեկություն կա, որ պաշտոնանկությունների հարցում առանցքային դերակատարներից մեկը եղել է ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Գեւորգ Կոստանյանը, որն անձամբ է Սերժ Սարգսյանին զեկուցել կոռումպցիոն այն սխեմայի մասին, որով Միրզաբեկյանն իր ընտանիքի անդամի կողմից հիմնադրած ընկերությունից նախարարության համար գնումներ է կատարել:

Ի դեպ, այս ստուգումների արդյունքում ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի հետ կապված եւս լուրջ խնդիրներ են ի հայտ եկել, ուստի չի բացառվում, որ նա եւս առաջիկայում պաշտոնանկ կարվի»:
