Հայաստանի վերջին վարչապետի՝ վերջին գրությունը 1920 թվականին... Ներկայացնենք մի պատմական արխիվային փաստաթուղթ՝ Հայաստանի առաջին Հանրապետության վերջին վարչապետ Սիմոն Վրացյանի վերջին գրությունը: Այն գրվել է Վրացյանի կողմից (որն այդ պահին միաժամանակ նաև ներքին գործերի նախարարն էր) 1920-ի դեկտեմբերի 1-ին՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կառավարության նախագահի բլանկի վրա: Ընդամենը մեկ օր հետո կառավարությունը ցրվեց և Հայաստանը որպես անկախ երկիր դադարեց գոյություն ունենալ:

Փաստաթուղթը գրված է եղել Հայաստանի համար դժվարագույն պայմաններում, երբ երկիրը արևուտքից դիմագրավում էր քեմալական Թուրքիայի զորքերի հարձակմանը, իսկ արևելքից՝ Սովետական Ռուսաստանի, և դա այն դեպքում, երբ հայկական բանակը, ցավոք, փաստացի կազմալուծված էր: Հայաստանին պարտադրվեց ստորագրել պարտվողական մի պայմանագիր, որը պատմության մեջ մտավ որպես Ալեքսանդրապոլի պայմանագիր: Մեզ միշտ պետք է դաս լինի, թե ինչու և ինչպես կորցրինք 1920 թվականին մեր անկախությունը: Եվ հիմա, Հայաստանի համար ներկայիս աշխարհաքաղակական դժվարին պայմաններում, մենք այլընտրանք չունենք, քան ունենալ մարտունակ ազգային բանակ՝ միշտ պատրաստ ցանկացած պատերազմական իրավիճակներին:
