Ներկայիս  «վերնախավի» ու դրան սպասարկող ընդդիմության գոյության ԱՄԵՆ ՕՐԸ Հայաստանին պատճառում է 200 ՄԻԼԻՈՆ դոլարի հասնող վնաս:

Կուլակաթափության քննարկումներով նորից բոլորս շեղվում ենք իրական խնդիրներից: Շատերը կենտրոնանում են միայն մակերեսին գտնվող թվերի վրա՝ տարեկան մեկ միլիարդ դոլար անօրինական դուրս բերված գումարների, պաշտոնյաների հարյուր հազարանոց մեքենաների կամ մի քանի միլիոնանոց դղյակների վրա:

Բայց սա միայն այսբերգի վերեւի մասն է, չնչին մասը, ծիծաղելի չափերի փոքր գումար: Տնտեսության մեջ առավել կարեւոր գործոններ են ֆունդամենտալ արդյունավետության գինը եւ կորսված հնարավորությունների գինը (deadweight loss եւ opportunity cost)

Փորձելով մոտարկել այս թվերը, սարսափելի պատկեր է բացվում:

Ըստ ամենամոտավոր հաշվարկների, հաշվի առնելով Խորհրդային Միության փլուզման պահին Հայաստանի մարդկային, արդյունաբերական, գիտական ու ինժեներական պոտենցիալը, առաջին պատերազմի տարիների ունեցած բացասական ազդեցությունը, եւ վերջին քսան տարում համաշխարհային տնտեսության աճի միջինացված տեմպերը, Հայաստանի բնակչությունը պետք է լիներ առնվազն 4 միլիոն, իսկ շնչին բաժին ընկնող ՀՆԱ-ն առնվազն 20,000 դոլար: Այսինքն մենք գործ ունենք անվերադարձորեն կորցրած տարեկան առնվազն 80 միլիարդ դոլարի հասնող արժեքի հետ:

Ամեն տարի՝ 80 միլիարդ: Ուշադիր կարդացեք: Ամեն օր մոտ 200 միլիոն դոլար: Գումարած մոտ երկու միլիոն հայրենիքից տեղահանված հայերի, կոտրված ճակատագրերի, չիրականացած երազանքների ու գողացված երջանկության:

Մեզ անհրաժեշտ է մի պահ գոնե կանգ առնել ու լրջորեն մտածել այս ամենի մասին: Եթե գոնե մի քանի տասնյակ հազար հայ գոնե մի ակնթարթ միաժամանակ պատկերացնի կատարվածի մաշտաբներն ու աստիճանը, շատ արագ ամեն ինչ կփոխվի:
