Ադրբեջանը ի ցույց դրեց ամբողջ քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհին, որ զինադադարը իրեն անհրաժեշտ էր ոչ թե խաղաղ, բանակցային ճանապարհով հակամարտությունը կարգավորելու, այլ ընդամենը ժամանակ շահելու համար, որպեսզի կարողանա վերականգնել ուժերը և զինվել: Բայց մեր հարևանները շատ փաստեր, թերևս, մոռացության են մատնել:

Հայկական կողմը'անսալով ադրբեջանական կողմի աղաչանքներին և միջազգային հանրության կոչերին հաստատեց զինադադար, մտավ բանակցային գործընթացի մեջ հարցը խաղաղ ճանապարհով կարգավորելու, հարատև խաղաղություն հաստատելու նպատակ ունենալով , այն դեպքում, երբ միջազգային իրավունքի բոլոր հանրաճանաչ նորմերին համապատասխան հարցը արդեն հայանպաստ լուծում ուներ, որն ամրագրվել էր նաև ռազմի դաշտում:

Ադրբեջանում այդպես էլ չընկալեցին, որ բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ նստելը արդեն մեծ զիջում և բարի կամքի դրսևորում էր նախահարձակ Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ, քանի որ հայկական կողմը բանակցային ճանապարհով ինչ որ բան նվաճելու,ստանալու ակնկալիք և կարիք այլևս չուներ: Դա շատ ակնհայտ է:

Մեծ է հավանակությունը, որ վաղը Ադրբեջանը նորից ջախջախվելու է ռազմի դաշտում,դրանից հետո էլ ինչպե ՞ս, ի՞նչ «երեսով» պետք է զինադադար խնդրի, կամ ինչպե ՞ս պետք է համոզի հայկական կողմին վերադառնալ բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ. մի տեսակ անհավանական է թվում:
Պաշտոնական Բաքուն պետք է հստակ գիտակցի, որ հակամարտության այսպիսի էսկալացիայի պարագայում հարցը կլուծվի ռազմի դաշտում, և մեծ է վտանգը, որ այլևս բանակցություններ չեն լինի նվազագույնը այն ձևաչափով, որր այժմ դեռևս կա: Պարտվելու դեպքում Բաքուն կկորցնի ամեն ինչ, այդ թվում' բանակցային, փոխզիջումային ճանապարհով կարգավորման հեռանկարը, և ավելորդ անգամ կվերահաստատի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի' դե ֆակտո որպես անկախ , ուժեղ, ինքնուրույն պետություն լինելու փաստը:
