Ինչպես ցույց են տվել ուսումնասիրությունները, նռան հյութը կարող է օգնել հաղթահարել աշխատանքային սթրեսը: Փորձարկման ընթացքում գիտնականները պարզել են, որ նռան հյութը թույլ է տալիս նվազեցնելսրտխփոցների արագությունը և լավացնել տրամադրությունը:

Գիտնականները հետևում էին մի խումբ կամավորների, ովքեր երկու շաբաթվա ընթացքում ամեն օր խմում էին 500 մգ նռան հյութ: Ուսումնասիրության սկզբում և վերջում գիտնականները գրանցել էին կամավորների  զարկերակիհաճախականությունը, ինչպես նաև վերջիններիս հուզական վիճակը պարզելու համար  տվել էին  լրացնելու մի հարցաթերթիկ:

Արդյունքում պարզվեց, որ կամավորների մեծ մասը, նշանակված ժամկետի ավարտին, հայտնում էին տրամադրության լավացման մասին: Աճում էրակտիվությունը, աշխատանքի հանդեպ հետաքրքրությունը և դանդաղում էրզարկերակի աշխատանքը:
 
Ուսումնասիրության ղեկավար Էմադ Ալ-Ջուայլին Էդինբուրդի Մարգարեթ թագուհու համալսարանից ասում է. «Ավելի ու ավելի են շատանում նռան  հյութի դրական հատկանիշների մասին վկայող փաստերը: Դա հետագա ուսումնասիրությունների անցկացման առիթ է տալիս»: Պետք է նշել, որ անցյալ տարի գիտնականների նույն խումբն ասում էր, որ նռան հյութը թույլ է տալիս նվազեցնել ճարպակալումը: 

Այն կամավորները, ովքեր մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում ամեն օր խմել էին մեկ լիտր նռան հյութ,  ավելի քիչ էին ձեռք բերում ճարպային բջիջներ որովայնի շրջանում: Նաև մասնագետները նռան հյութին վերագրում էին հակաքաղցկեղային հականիշներ, ինչպես նաև սրտայինհիվանդությունների և ծերացման գործընթացի դեմ պայքարելու ունակություններ: Գաղտնիքը կայանում է վերջինիս մեջ առկա հակաօքսիդանտների մեջ:
