Ազգային գաղափարախոսության առանցքը վստահութունն է: Պետության, ժողովրդի, հասարակության, ընտանիքի, ընկերության կազմավորման համար պայմանը առաջին հերթին վստահությունն է: Վստահությունը համախմբում է, միասնականություն է: Առանց վստահության հնարավոր չէ երկարաժամկետ համագործակցումներ նախաձեռնել և պլաններ ունենալ: Անվստահությունը շարունակ ագահություն, անտարբերություն, դավաճանություն և անհատ հերոսներ է ծնում:

Ցավոք, ոչ միայն մեր ազգային գաղափարախոսությունը տկար է, այլ նաև հիմք չունի: Դարեր շարունակ սեղմվել ենք "Միացում, ազատություն, անկախություն..." կոչերի տակ, առանց գիտակցելու, որ դրանք բոլորը դատապարտված են ոչնչանալու, եթե փոխադարձ վստահություն չկա: Իսկապես ուշագրավ է հայ գրականությունը. ժամերով կարող ես թերթել ու չհանդիպել անձնազոհությանը' հանուն ազնվության և վստահության: Մեր գրականությունը մեզ հայրենասեր է դաստիարակում, բայց չի սովորեցնում, որ առանց վստահության ոչ մի սեր չի լինում, կամ արագ մաշվում է:
