Գևորգ Գյուլումյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Վերջին դեպքերից հետո հասարակությունը վերջնականապես սթափվեց և հասկացավ, որ Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականության դեմ ուղղված ցանակացած ագրեսիա կարող է ճնշել միայն ու միայն հայության հավաքական ուժը: Միջազգային ոչ մի կառույց չի օգնել, և չի օգնելու հայերին, ավելին՝ այդ կառույցների արված հայտարարություններից շատերում ՀՀ-ն ու Ադրբեջանը դիտվում են հավասարապես, այսինքն՝ Արցախյան հակամարտության մեղավորությունը հավասարապես «բաշխում» են երկու կողմի վրա:
Դեռ թարմ են ապրիլյան դեպքերը, երբ Ադրբեջանի, միայն հոգեկան հիվանդներին բնորոշ ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարության ահաբեկչական դրսևորման արդյունքում՝ տասնյակ մարդկային կորուստներ ունեցանք: Իհարկե, փառք ու պատիվ հայկական զինուժին, որը կարողացավ ճնշել թշնամու ագրեսիան:
Բայց մի պահ պատկերացրեք թե՝ ինչ կկատարվեր, եթե մենք բանակ չունենայինք, և հույսներս դրած լինեինք միջազգային հանրության ու նրա ճղճիմ կոչերի վրա:

Ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերը կներխուժեին հայկական բնակավայրեր... կարծում եմ մնացածը պարզ է՝ սպանություն, բռնաբարություն, թալան, առևանգումներ և այլ նվաստացուցիչ հանգամանքներ: Այդպես կշարունակվեր մի քանի օր, մինչև միջազգային հանրությունը կսկսեր իր ճղճիմ ուղերձներով իբր սաստել Ադրբեջանին: Երբ հայկական բնակավայրերի բնակչությունն ամբողջովին ենթարկվեր վերը նշված բոլոր նվաստացումներին, աշխարհը Ադրբեջանին կհրավիրեր կլոր սեղանի շուրջ, իսկ ինչպես գիտենք՝ մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ կշեռքի ծանր կողմում գտնվող ոչ մի պետություն տարածք չի զիջում մյուսին, արդյունքում տեղի կունենար հայական տարածքների ադրբեջանականացում, օկուպացիա, որն աշխարհի կողմից կանվանվեր ուղղակի հաշտության պայմանագիր :
Այս ամենը տեղի չունեցավ, քանի որ հայկական կողմը հետևելով Կորնելիուս Նեպոտի “Եթե ուզում ես խաղաղություն' պատրաստվիր պատերազմի” խոսքին, բանակ ստեղծեց որը եղավ Հայաստանի անվտանգության գրավականը:

Ոչ մի քաղաքական ուժ չի կարող ճնշել զինված պայքարը, հիշենք, որ 1915-ին մենք՝ հայերս Արևմտյան Հայաստնում որքան կիրթ ու բանիմաց գլուխներ ունեինք....Այդ բոլոր գլուխները հերթով կտրվեցին, կտրվեց նաև շուրջ 2 միլիոն հայերի կյանքեր....
Դանիել Վարուժանն ասել է, «Հայն իր ձեռքին պետք է ունենա՝ սուր, գրիչ, բահ»:
Մեր ազգը կոտորվեց, որովհետև՝ գրիչով միայն աղերսագրեր էր գրում, և ոչ մարտակոչեր, որովհետև երկաթից միայն բահ ձուլել գիտեր, և ոչ մի անգամ չփորձեց այդ բահով իր մարգերը տրորողի գլուխը ջախջախել:
