Այսօր Ազգային ժողովում՝ լրագրողների հետ զրույցի ժամանակ, այս մասին ասաց ԱԺ ՀԱԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Լեւոն Զուրաբյանը՝ խոսելով այսօր Վիեննայում նախատեսվող Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպման մասին: Նրա խոսքով՝ սահմանային լարված վիճակի ֆոնին ՀԱԿ-ը նպատակահարմար չի համարում քննադատել, մեկնաբանել, խորհուրդներ տալ տվյալ հարցի վերաբերյալ: Ինչպես նշեց պատգամավորը, ի վերջո, իրավիճակին, ռեսուրսներին, ինչպես նաեւ միջազգային ճնշումներին իշխանությունը տիրապետում է: Ըստ Լ. Զուրաբյանի՝ կան բազմաթիվ անհայտներ, որոնց ընդդիմությունը չի տիրապետում եւ չի էլ կարող տիրապետել:

Խոսելով նախագահների հանդիպման ակնկալիքների մասին՝ Լ. Զուրաբյանն ասաց. «Չեմ ուզում գուշակություններ անել: Կարծես, լուրջ կազմ է հավաքված՝ արտգործնախարարներ են գնացել, ինչը հուշում է, որ միջազգային հանրության կողմից կա ինչ-որ վճռականություն՝ ինչ-որ ձեւով կարգավորել իրավիճակը»:

Դիտարկմանը, թե ՀՀ նախագահի կողմից առաջ քաշված երեք նախապայմաններն այդպես էլ կյանքի չկոչվեցին, սակայն նախագահը գնաց բանակցությունների, Լ. Զուրաբյանն ասաց. «Ես չգիտեմ՝ կատարվե՞լ են, թե՞ չեն կատարվել կամ ի՞նչ տեսքով են կատարվել ու արդյո՞ք դրա հետ կապված դրույթները նույնպես քննարկվում են այդ բանակցություններում: Չեմ ուզում դատողություններ անել»:

Իսկ այն դիտարկմանը, թե Հրանտ Բագրատյանն ասում է՝ պատերազմ կլինի, քանի որ Արցախի ճանաչման օրինագիծն օրակարգում չէ, Լ. Զուրաբյանը նշեց. «Մենք չենք մասնակցել այդ օրինագծի՝ օրակարգ անցնելու քվեարկությանը:Մենք, իհարկե, ԼՂՀ-ի ինքնորոշման պաշտպանն ենք եղել եւ կանք՝ 1988-ից սկսած: Մեր նպատակն է հասնել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության միջազգային ճանաչմանը: Ցանկացած քայլ մենք պետք է գնահատենք, չափենք այդ համատեքստում, եթե մենք քայլ ենք անում, որով խոչընդոտում ենք միջազգային ճանաչումը կամ առաջացնում ենք պրոցեսներ, որոնք այդ միջազգային ճանաչմանը հակառակ են գնալու, բնականաբար, նման քայլ անելը անհեթեթություն է: Մինչեւ մենք չունենանք գերտերությունների աջակցությունն այս հարցում, նման քայլը կընկալվի որպես միակողմանի՝ տարածաշրջանային անվտանգությանը սպառնացող քայլ»,- ասաց նա:
