 Հունաստանի ռազմածովային ուժերի ֆրեգատն ուղարկվել Է Egypt Air-ի ավիաընկերության A320 օդանավի անհետացման շրջան, որոնումներին մասնակցում Է նաեւ Հունաստանի ռազմաօդային ուժերի C-130 ինքնաթիռը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել են Հունաստանի ազգային պաշտպանության նախարարության գլխավոր շտաբում:

«Ինքնաթիռի անհետացման շրջանում արդեն գործում Է Հունաստանի ռազմաօդային ուժերի C-130 ինքնաթիռը,- նշել են գլխավոր շտաբում:- Nikiforos Fokas ֆրեգատը շարժվում Է պատահարի շրջան»:

Եգիպտոսի զինված ուժերի փրկարար բրիգադները ժամանել են Միջերկրական ծով՝ որոնումների շրջան: Ինչպես հայտնել Է «Ալ Մայադին» եգիպտական հեռուստաալիքը՝ հղում անելով երկրի ավիացիայի նախարարության աղբյուրների, ինքնաթիռն ընկել Է ծովը: Այս տեղեկատվության պաշտոնական հաստատումներ չկան:

Ուղեւորների թվում եղել են 15 ֆրանսիացիներ, 30 եգիպտացիներ, Իրաքի երկու քաղաքացիներ եւ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Բելգիայի, Քուվեյթի, Սաուդյան Արաբիայի, Սուդանի, Չադի, Պորտուգալիայի, Ալժիրի, Կանադայի մեկական քաղաքացիներ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
