 «Թանգարանների եվրոպական գիշեր» նախաձեռնության շրջանակում հերթական անգամ այցելուների առջև իրենց դռներն էին բացել նաև Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի ենթակայության թանգարանները: Բազմաթիվ այցելուների հետ միասին Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի թանգարան է այցելել նաև Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը:  Այս մասին  տեղեկացրին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից,  որի հաղորդագրության մեջ նշված է. «Ողջունելով Երևանի քաղաքապետին, Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի կինը՝ Ռիմա Դեմիրճյանն առանձնակի կարևորել  է  «Թանգարանների եվրոպական գիշեր» նախաձեռնությունն ու նկատել, որ այն ևս մեկ հրաշալի հնարավորություն է ինչպես Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի, այնպես էլ երևանյան բոլոր մյուս թանգարանների հարուստ ու ինքնատիպ հավաքածուներն այցելուներին ներկայացնելոÖ ‚ համար:

Քաղաքապետը՝ Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի թանգարանի տնօրեն Վահագն Մամյանի ուղեկցությամբ շրջել է թանգարանում, ծանոթացել ազգային, պետական և քաղաքական խոշորագույն գործիչ, Ազգային Հերոս Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի կյանքն ու գործունեությունը ներկայացնող ցուցանմուշներին: Այցի շրջանակում Տարոն Մարգարյանը գրառում է կատարել պատվավոր հյուրերի գրքում: Կարևորելով Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անուրանալի վաստակը մեր երկրի կայացման ու զարգացման գործում, քաղաքապետը նկատել է, որ այդ տեսանկյունից թանգարանն, իրոք, շնորհակալ գործ է կատարում՝ պահպանելով քաղաքական անվանի գործչի և մեծ հայրենասերի կյանքի ու գործունեության մասին ներկայացվող նյութերը: Քաղաքապետը նաև համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ թանգարանի աշխատանքը մեծապես կնպաստի հայրենասեր քաղաքացիներ դաստիարակելու գործին:  

Գեղանկարչուհի Լուսիկ Ագուլեցու տուն–թանգարանը ևս միացել էր «Թանգարանների եվրոպական գիշեր» նախաձեռնությանը: Թանգարան այցելած Երևանի քաղաքապետին ներկայացնելով հարուստ հավաքածուն՝ Լուսիկ Ագուլեցին նշել է, որ այն կազմված է ավելի քան 1500 ցուցանմուշներից, որտեղ ներառված են հայ ազգագրական և դեկորատիվ-կիրառական արվեստի ստեղծագործություններ»:
