ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն մայսիս 23-ին ընդունել է ԵԱՀԿ Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի Հարավային Կովկասի հարցերով հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Քրիստիան Վիգենինին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին մեր երկրում՝ Հանրապետության Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը բարձր է գնահատում ԵԱՀԿ դերակատարումը՝ որպես համաեվրոպական անվտանգության ոլորտի կարևոր կազմակերպություն և մասնակից երկրների միջև իրավահավասար երկխոսության կարևորագույն հարթակ: Նախագահի համոզմամբ, ԵԱՀԿ խորհրդարանական ձևաչափը համագործակցության և երկխոսության լայն հնարավորություն է ստեղծում խորհրդարանականների միջև շփումների, համագործակցության հնարավորություններն օգտագործելու՝ ի նպաստ անվտանգության և ժողովուրդների երկխոսության խրախուսման: Սերժ Սարգսյանը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ Քրիստիան Վիգենինի ունեցած հարուստ փորձառությունը՝ որպես պատգամավոր, նաև որպես Բուլղարիայի նախկին կառավարության անդամ, հնարավորություն կտա նրան իր առջև դրված խնդիրների լուծմանը մոտենալ շատ ավելի համապարփակ:

Նշելով, որ 2015թ. դեկտեմբերի 6-ի հանրաքվեով ՀՀ-ում ընդունված սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների արդյունքում Հայաստանն անցնելու է կառավարման խորհրդարանական համակարգի, Նախագահը համոզվածություն է հայտնել, որ ԵԱՀԿ Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում Հայաստանի պատվիրակության գործունեությունն ավելի կակտիվանա:

Հանդիպման սկզբում ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ Հարավային Կովկասի հարցերով հատուկ ներկայացուցիչը նախ շնորհավորել է ՀՀ Նախագահին՝ Վիեննայում ԼՂ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման ուղղությամբ կատարված կարևոր քայլի կապակցությամբ: Քրիստիան Վիգենինը նշել է, որ տևական խաղաղության հասնելու համար դեռևս անհրաժեշտ է շատ ջանքեր գործադրել: Այս իրավիճակում, ըստ ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ հատուկ ներկայացուցչի, ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ-ն իր դերակատարությունը տեսնում է խաղաղության հաստատման ուղղությամբ գործադրվող ջանքերին օժանդակելու մեջ: 

«Վերահաստատում եմ, որ ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ-ի համար ԼՂ հակամարտությունը խաղաղ ճանապարհով լուծելուց բացի, այլ տարբերակ գոյություն չունի, և ԵԱՀԿ ԽՎ-ն ամբողջությամբ սատարում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների գործունեությանը»,-շեշտել է Քրիստիան Վիգենինը:
