ԱՄՆ զինծառայողները վերանորոգում են Երևանի տարեցների խնամքի կենտրոնը

  Երևանի տարեցների խնամքի թիվ 1 կենտրոնում մայիսի 10-ից  սկսած  ընթանում էին  վերանորոգման աշխատանքներ, որոնք իրականացվում էին ԱՄՆ Ջորջիա նահանգի Ռոբինս Օդային բազայի տասնյակ քաղաքացիական ինժեներների ու շինարարների կողմից: Վերանորոգման աշխատանքների արդյունքում բարելավվել են պայմանները 12 սենյակներում ու խնամքի կենտրոնի ընդհանուր օգտագործման տարածքներում: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատնից:

Ջորջիայի Ազգային գվարդիայի Ռազմաօդային ուժերի 116-րդ քաղաքացիական ինժեներական էսկադրիլիայի զինծառայողները Հայաստանում են գտնվում ԱՄՆ զինված ուժերի Հումանիտար քաղաքացիական աջակցության ծրագրի շրջանակում: Ինժեներական անձնակազմը փոխել է խնամքի կենտրոնի հատակը՝ տարեցների համար այն ավելի ապահով դարձնելով: Նրանք նաև նորոգել են շենքի սանհանգույցները, կատարել են կոյուղու, լարանցման բարելավումներ և պատերի հարդարման աշխատանքներ: Վերանորոգման աշխատանքները հմտությունների ձեռք բերման ու իրական պայմաններում դրանք կիրառելու լավ հնարավորու թյուն էին ամերիկացի զինծառայողների համար, որը միաժամանակ նպաստում է նաև հայ և ամերիկյան ժողովուրդների երկարամյա բարեկամության խորացմանը: 

«Մենք դեռ երկար ու երախտագիտությամբ հիշենք այն աշխատանքը, որ դուք արել եք այստեղ: Դրանց շնորհիվ մեր բնակիչների համար կապահովվի տաք ջուր, ջեռուցում և բնակության ապահով ու կոկիկ պայմաններ»,- ասաց Երևանի տարեցների խնամքի թիվ 1 կենտրոնի տնօրեն Խաչիկ Սարգսյանը:

«Ջորջիայի Ազգային գվարդիայի այս ներկայացուցիչները ամերիկյան զինուժի լավագույն կադրերն են, և նրանք անձամբ շփվել ու ծանոթացել են հայ ժողովրդի հետ և այդ տպավորություններն իրենց հետ տուն կտանեն», - ասաց ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսը, ով մայիսի 25-ին ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարար Արտեմ Ասատրյանի հետ միասին ներկա գտնվեց վերանորոգված կենտրոնի ժապավենը կտրելու արարողությանը:

Սա արդեն երրորդ տարին է, որ Հայաստանում նախագծեր են իրականացվում ԱՄՆ եվրոպական հրամանատարության Հումանիտար քաղաքացիական աջակցության ծրագրի շրջանակում:

«Նման աշխատանքների միջոցով և գործակցելով ՀՀ կառավարության ու քաղաքացիական հասարակության հետ Ամերիկյան դեսպանատունը ձգտում է բարելավել հայ ժողովրդի կենսամակարդակը և օգնել այս հինավուրց ժողովրդին կերտելու անվտանգ, խաղաղ և բարեկեցիկ ապագա, որին արժանի է հայ ժողովուրդը», - ասաց դեսպան Միլսը:
