 Որքան Ընտրական օրենսգրքի շուրջ լայն կոնսենսուս լինի, այնքան այն ավելի լավը ու վստահելի կլինի: Ազգային ժողովում այս մասին հայտարարեց ՀՀ կառավարության աշխատակազմի ղեկավար-նախարար Դավիթ Հարությունյանը՝ արձագանքելով ՀԱԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Լևոն Զուրաբյանի հարցադրմանը՝ Ընտրական օրենսգրքի շուրջ լայն կոնսենսուս ապահովելու հնարավորությունների վերաբերյալ: «Թեև մենք այսօր հաստատում ե նք Ընտրական օրենսգիրքը, սակայն մենք պատրաստ ենք ևս մեկ անգամ վերահաստատել մեր հայտարարությունը, որը եղավ երկրորդ ընթերցման ժամանակ: Եթե անգամ հունիսի 1-ից հետո մեզ հաջողվի գտնել փոխադարձ ընդունելի այնպիսի մեխանիզմներ, որոնք էլ ավելի կուժեղացնեն Ընտրական օրենսգիրքը, որոնք կլինեն իրատեսական, մենք իսկապես պատրաստ կլինենք հրավիրել Ազգային ժողովի արտահերթ նստաշրջան և ներկայացնել առաջարկներ Ընտրական օրենսգրքում փոփոխություն կատարելու համար»,- ասաց Հարությունյանը:

Դավիթ Հարությունյանը հավելեց, որ այդ ընթացքում իրենք կօգտագործեն առիթը և կանդրադառնան նաև առաջարկներին, որոնք ներկայացվել են սահմանված ժամկետից ուշ և հնարավորություն չի եղել անդրադառնալ դրանց: «Մենք կաշխատենք այդ առաջարկությունները ևս դարձնել քննարկման առարկա: Հույս ունեմ, որ քննարկումները շարունակելու մեր պատրաստակամությունն անպատասխան չի մնա, իսկ մեր գործընկեր Լևոն Զուրաբյանի խոսքից ես հասկացա, որ անպատասխան չի մնա»,- եզրափակեց կառավարության աշխատակազմի ղեկավար-նախարարը:

Խորհրդարանը երրորդ ընթերցմամբ և ամբողջությամբ ընդունել է ՀՀ Ընտրական օրենսգիրքը: Երրորդ ընթերցմամբ և ամբողջությամբ Ընտրական օրենսգիրքն ընդունելու նախագծին կողմ քվեարկեց 102, դեմ՝ 17, ձեռնպահ՝ 3 պատգամավոր:
