 ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի  նախարար Արտեմ Ասատրյանը  Հայաստանում  ԱՄՆ  արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլզի հետ միասին ներկա է գտնվել Երևանի Թիվ 1 տուն-ինտերնատի երկրորդ մասնաշենքի բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությանը: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, նախարար Արտեմ Ասատրյանը ԱՄՆ դեսպանի հետ վերանորոգված մասնաշենքում շրջելուց հետո գոհունակություն է հայտնել կատարված աշխատանքների վերաբերյալ և շնորհակալություն հայտնել ԱՄՆ Ջորջիա նահանգի զինծառայողներին վերանորոգման աշխատանքները բարեխղճորեն կատարելու և սրտացավություն ցուցաբերելու համար: 

«Թիվ 1 տուն ինտերնատում այսօր խնամվում է 250 տարեց և հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձ: Վստահաբար պետք է ասել, որ միայն մեր աշխատողների բարեհոգի վերաբերմունքը դեռևս բավարար չէ տարեցներին պատշաճ խնամք ապահովելու համար, բնականաբար, անհրաժեշտ են նաև լավ պայմաններ: Իսկ այս դեպքում արդեն գործ ունենք բարելավված պայմանների հետ, որտեղ խնամվողների համար ստեղծվում է հաճելի միջավայր»,- ասել է նախարարը: 

Վերանորոգված մասնաշենքում շուրջ 24 անձ արդեն նոր պայմաններում կստանա համապատասխան խնամք: Ամբողջությամբ վերանորոգվել են տուն ինտերնատի երկրորդ մասնաշենքի համապաատասխան ենթակառուցվածքները: 

«ԱՄՆ դեսպանության հետ մեր համագործակցության շրջանակներում, գնահատված առաջնահերթ կարիքների հիման վրա վերանորոգվել են տարեցների և երեխաների խնամքի այլ հաստատություններ: Վստահ եմ՝ նման ծրագրերը շարունակական են լինելու և նախարարության հետ համագործակցող կազմակերպությունների հետ միասին քայլ առ քայլ հասնելու ենք խնամքի հաստատություններում բարելավված պայմանների ապահովմանը»,- նշել է  Արտեմ Ասատրյանը: 

ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլզն իր հերթին նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը ուրախ է օգնել Հայաստանի այն քաղաքացիներին, ովքեր խոցելի են և բնակվում են խնամքի հաստատություններում: «Այս տարի Ջորջիայի ազգային գվարդիայի զինծառայողները Թիվ 1 տուն-ինտերնատում իրականացրել են վերանորոգման աշխատանքներ՝ փոխել են հատակը, կոյուղին, ջրատար համակարգը: ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը  շարունակում է համագործակցել ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության հետ և վստահ եմ, որ համագործակցությունը շարունակական կլինի»,- ընդգծել է դեսպանը: 

Միջոցառման ավարտին տուն-ինտերնատի տարեց բնակիչները երգել և ասմունքել են տուն-ինտերնատ այցելած հյուրերի համար: 

Տուն-ինտերնատի երկրորդ մասնաշենքի վերանորոգման աշխատանքներն իրականացվել են Մարդասիրական քաղաքացիական աջակցության ծրագրի շրջանակներում ԱՄՆ Ջորջիա նահանգի Ազգային գվարդիայի ռազմաօդային ուժերի 116-րդ քաղաքացիական ինժեներական էսկադրիլիայի և 461-րդ ռազմաօդային ուժերի վերհսկման գնդի զինծառայողների կողմից:
