«Միդիա-Շանգալ» Եզդիների ազգային միավորում ՀԿ խորհրդի նախագահ Ամո Շարոյանը համոզված է, որ եթե ժամանակին ճանաչվեր և դատապարտվեր Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, ապա հետագա ցեղասպանությունները, այդ թվում նաև եզդի ժողովրդի ցեղասպանությունն Իրաքի Շանգալ եզդիաբնակ նահանգում չէր լինի:

Ամո Շարոյանը հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում անդրադարձել է Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող և դատապարտող բանաձևի ընդունմանը:

«Վերջապես Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագն ընդունեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման բանաձևը: Հավատացած եմ, որ եթե ժամանակին ճանաչվեր և դատապարտվեր Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, ապա հետագա ցեղասպանությունները, այդ թվում նաև եզդի ժողովրդի ցեղասպանությունն Իրաքի Շանգալ եզդիաբնակ նահանգում չէր լինի: Բայց թշնամությունն ու ատելությունը հավերժ չեն կարող լինել: Թուրք ժողովուրդը պետք է ազնվորեն առերեսվի իր անցյալին, ամոթ չէ այլ ուղակի անհրաժեշտություն է: Եվ նրանք պետք է վերջնականապես հասկական, որ Երիտթուրքերը հերոսներ չէին, այլ ռազմական հանցագործներ, որոնք պլանավորեցին և իրագործեցին հայ և մյուս ժողովուրդների ցեղասպանությունը: Պարզապես պետք է իրատես և ազնիվ լինել, ինչպես Բունդեսթագում նշում էին ելույթ ունեցողները»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ:

Նա նաև  հավատացած է, որ շատ շատերն էլ ցանկանում են և կհետևեն Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի օրինակին: Կհաստատվի արդարությունը, աշխարհը կճանաչի, կդատապարտի և կխոնարհվի անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակի առջև:

Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագն ընդունեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման բանաձևը, որն ունի «1915 թ. հայերի և մյուս քրիստոնյա փոքրամասնությունների ցեղասպանության հիշատակի և ոգեկոչման մասին» անվանումը: Բանաձևն ընդունվեց ունենալով ընդամենը մեկ դեմ, մեկ ձեռնպահ ձայն:  Ելույթ ունեցողները միաձայն ընդգծում էին անցյալի հետ առերեսման անհրաժեշտությունը, նաև` Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի հաշտեցման գործընթացին նպաստելու մղումները:Բունդեսթագում բարձրաձայնվել է Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի ոճրագործության մասին` նշելով, որ Գերմանիայի քայլը ոչ թե հայց է և մեղադրանք, այլ խոնարհում զոհերի հիշատակի առջև:
