Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի առաջնորդողից մի հատված.

«Երեկ Ստեփանակերտում դաժան ծեծի է ենթարկվել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Ազգային ժողովի ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր, «Ազգային վերածնունդ» կուսակցության ղեկավար Հայկ Խանումյանը, ով ԼՂՀ Պաշտպանության բանակի նախկին հրամանատար Սամվել Բաբայանի համակիրներից է: Նախօրեին Ստեփանակերտում հենց Խանումյանի նախաձեռնությամբ տեղի էր ունեցել երթ` դեպի ԼՂՀ նախագահի նստավայր` Սամվել Բաբայանին պաշտպանության նախարար նշանակելու պահանջով:

Ակնհայտ է, որ Խանումյանի դեմ կատարված բռնությունը մեծ վնաս է ոչ միայն՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի վարկանիշին, այլ առաջին հերթին՝ ԼՂՀ իշխանություններին ու նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանին: Առնվազն տրամաբանության հետ խնդիրներ պետք է ունենալ՝ մտածելու համար, որ այսպիսի պայմաններում, պատերազմական վիճակում ԼՂՀ իշխանությունը կարող էր գնալ նման քայլի: Բայց նույնպիսի խնդիրներ պետք է ունենալ նաև, որպեսզի զբաղեցնելով նախագահի մամլո խոսնակի պաշտոնը` անես այնպիսի հայտարարություններ, որոնց իմաստն այն է, որ «Խանումյանին հասնում էր»:

Տարբեր ձևակերպումներով՝ հենց այդ միտքն էր երեկ բոլոր լրատվամիջոցներում հայտնում ԼՂՀ նախագահի մամլո խոսնակ Դավիթ Բաբայանը` գոնե ձևականորեն անգամ չդատապարտելով՝ որևէ քաղաքացու, այդ թվում ու առավել ևս` ԱԺ պատգամավորի նկատմամբ տեղի ունեցած բռնությունը: Այդպիսին են ժողովրդավարական երկրների կանոնները, որոնց այդքան շատ է սիրում հղում անել Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայկ Խանումյանի դեմ կիրառված բռնությանը, ապա հաշվարկը շատ պարզ է. նախօրեին Խանումյանը ԼՂՀ նախագահի նստավայրի դիմաց ցույց է անում, պահանջում է պաշտպանության նախարար նշանակել Սամվել Բաբայանին, և հաջորդ առավոտյան նրան դաժան ծեծի են ենթարկում: Հասկանալի է` կասկածում են բոլորին, բացի Սամվել Բաբայանից, ով նախօրեին հայտարարել է, թե դեռ չի ծնվել մեկը, ով իրեն կասի, թե՝ «աչքի վերևը ունք կա»: Այսպիսով, կամ Բաբայանը շատ է ցանկանում, որպեսզի հայտնվի այդ մեկը, որին ինքը կկարողանա ապացուցել, որ «աչքի վերևը ունք չկա», կամ այլ շրջանակներ են ցանկանում, որպեսզի Բաբայանը ներքաշվի նման պատմության մեջ:

Այս պահին կարելի է միայն արձանագրել, որ «իր ժողովրդին օգնելու համար» Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ այցելած Սամվել Բաբայանի վերադարձի հաջորդ իսկ օրը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղին մեծ վնաս է հասցվել: Հարցը` թե ում է դա ամենաշատը ձեռնտու, շարունակում է օդում կախված մնալ: Մնում է միայն հուսալ, որ այդ հարցին չի պատասխանի Բաբայաններից Դավիթը»,–գրում է թերթը։
