Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր «Եվրոպայի օրվա» կապակցությամբ այցելել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակություն: Հանրապետության Նախագահը շնորհավորել է Հայաստանում Եվրամիության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկիին, ԵՄ պատվիրակության ամբողջ անձնակազմին և ի դեմս նրան ց՝ ԵՄ մեծ ընտանիքին «Եվրոպայի օրվա» կապակցությամբ, մաղթել խաղաղություն և բարեկեցություն: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

«Ավելի քան վեց տասնամյակ է անցել այն օրվանից, երբ Եվրոպայի հիմնադիր հայրերից Ռոբերտ Շումանը հրապարակեց իր հռչակագիրը, որով հիմք դրվեց այսօրվա Եվրոպական միության կառուցման գործընթացին: Այս կարճ պատմական ժամանակահատվածում Եվրոպական միասնական ընտանիքի գաղափարն անցել է փորձաքննություն, ապացուցել իր կենսունակությունը և ի ցույց դրել ժողովուրդների համատեղ ապրելու առավելությունները: Ըստ էության, ԵՄ-ի հեղինակությունն այսօր անցնում է իր աշխարհագրական սահմաններից շատ հեռու:

Ուրախ եմ, որ վերջին տարիներին մեր հարաբերությունները, քաղաքական շփումները բավականաչափ ակտիվացել են, ավելի պարբերական են դարձել բարձրաստիճան փոխայցելությունները: Մենք անցյալ տարի Հայաստանում ընդունեցինք Եվրոպայի Խորհրդի նախագահ պարոն Տուսկին, հանձնակատար Յոհաննես Հանին, այս տարվա մարտին Հայաստանում էր Եվրամիության բարձր ներկայացուցիչ տիկին Մոգերինին: Այս այցելություններն իրենց մեջ պարունակում էին բավականաչափ գործնական քայլեր:

Մեր բանակցությունները Հայաստան-ԵՄ նոր համապարփակ իրավական փաստաթղթի շուրջ ընթանում են հաջողությամբ, և հուսով ենք, որ ողջամիտ ժամկետներում փաստաթուղթը ստորագրված կլինի, ինչն է՛լ ավելի կխթանի մեր համագործակցությունը»,-ասել է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Դեսպան Սվիտալսկին իր և Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության անունից շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին՝ այցելության և շնորհավորական ջերմ խոսքերի համար, ընդգծելով, որ «Եվրոպայի օրվա» տոնակատարությունը ԵՄ պատվիրակությունը համարում է ընդհանուր տոն, որը ցանկանում է նշել Հայաստանի և ընդարձակ Եվրոպական ընտանիքի հետ:

«Մենք անչափ երախտապարտ ենք Հայաստանի իշխանություններին՝ Հայաստանի ամբողջ տարածքում «Եվրոպայի օրվա» տոնակատարությունների անցկացման գործում մեզ օժանդակելու համար: Գյումրիից մինչև Կապան, մինչև իրանական սահման մենք անվանում ենք եվրոպական դարպասներ և մեր լավագույն ջանքն ենք ներդնում Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու գործում: Մենք գնահատում ենք մեր հարաբերությունները շատ լավ, դինամիկ զարգացող, բայց գտնում ենք, որ է՛լ ավելի հարստացնելու ու զարգացնելու ներուժ ունենք»,-ասել է Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավա ր Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և դեսպան Սվիտալսկին քննարկել են նաև ՀՀ-ԵՄ համագործակցության օրակարգին, ընթացիկ ծրագրերին և առաջնահերթություններին վերաբերող հարցեր, անդրադարձել Հայաստանում իրականացվող բարեփոխումներին: ՀՀ Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել այդ բարեփոխումներին ԵՄ շարունակական աջակցության համար:

Զրուցակիցները հույս են հայտնել, որ ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների զարգացման, փոխգործակցության խորացման ուղղությամբ երկուստեք գործադրվող ջանքերն ավելի կհարստացնեն երկկողմ օրակարգը և նոր մակարդակի կբարձրացնեն ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունները:
