Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունների հաստատումն ու կարգավորումը Եվրամիությունից պահանջում են և՛ համերաշխության դրսևորում, և՛ քննադատություն։ Այդ մասին գերմանական Bild պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Եվրախորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկը:

Ընդգծելով խոսքի և մամուլի ազատության խախտման անթույլատրելիությունը` Տուսկը նշել է Թուրքիայի՝ որպես ԵՄ-ի գործընկերոջ, կարևորությունը միգրացիոն ճգնաժամի լուծման հարցում և երկրում ամենշաբաթյա ահաբեկչությունների ու Սիրիայի, Իրաքի և Իրանի հետ չամրապնդված սահմանների հետ կապված իրավիճակի բարդությունը, փոխանցում է РИА Новости-ն:

«Այդ պատճառով մենք պարտավոր ենք Թուրքիային տրամադրել և՛ համերաշխություն, և՛ քննադատություն»,- ասել է Տուսկը:

Մեկնաբանելով առանց վիզայի ռեժիմի սահմանման վերաբերյալ հարցը` Տուսկը կրկնել է, որ բանակցությունների արդյունքը, որոնք կտևեն մինչև հոկտեմբեր, կախված է Թուրքիայի կողմից ավելի վաղ ԵՄ-ի ներկայացրած պահանջները կատարելուց, սակայն գործընթացում առաջընթաց նկատվում է:

Եվրախորհրդի նախագահը նշել է նաև, որ կարիք չկա Գերմանիան համարել միակ երկիրը, որը կանգնած է ներգաղթյալների հետ իրավիճակի հետագա վատթարացման ճանապարհին:

«Մյուս երկրները, կախված իրենց բնակչության թվաքանակից, քիչ ներգաղթյալներ չեն ընդունել: Գերմանիային մենակ չեն թողել, և պետք չէ նրան տառապյալ համարել»,- բացատրել է Տուսկը:
