Սպառազինությունների համաշխարհային շուկան 2015 թվականին աճել Է 10 տոկոսով եւ 65 մլրդ դոլար ծավալի Է հասել մեկ տարի առաջվա 58,4 մլրդ դոլարի դիմաց: Նման աճի, որն առավելագույնն Է վերջին տասը տարվա ընթացքում, հիմնական պատճառը Սաուդյան Արաբիայի կողմից ռազմական տեխնիկայի գնումների կտրուկ ավելացումն Է մինչեւ 9,3 մլրդ դոլար՝ 2015 թվականին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է  Արմենպրեսը, հայտնել Է Bloomberg գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով HIS ընկերության կողմից պատրաստված Global Defence Trade Report հաշվետվությունը, որը հրապարակվել Է հունիսի 12-ին:

«Սաուդյան Արաբիայի կողմից սպառազինությունների գնումների կտրուկ աճը պայմանավորված Է Եմենի հակամարտությանը նրա մասնակցությամբ: Նաեւ այդ փաստի շնորհիվ Է, որ ռազմական տեխնիկայի համաշխարհային վաճառքները, 2015 թվականի հաշվետվությանը համապատասխան, աճել են 10 տոկոսով»,-նշում Է գործակալությունը: 

Զենքի պահանջարկն Էականորեն աճել Է նաեւ Մերձավոր Արեւելքի եւ Հարավարեւելյան Ասիայի երկրների մեծ մասում:

2015 թվականի տվյալներով՝ Սաուդյան Արաբիան սպառազինությունների ներմուծման ծավալով աշխարհում առաջին տեղն Է զբաղեցնում՝ անցյալ տարի գնումներն ավելացնելով 50 տոկոսով: Անցյալ տարի զենքի գնումներով երկրորդ տեղն զբաղեցրել Է Հնդկաստանը, երրորդը՝ Ավստրալիան, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
