Անգլիայի հավաքականի գխավոր մարզիչ Ռոյ Հոջսոնն ու հարձակվող Ուեյն Ռունին հավաքականի երկրպագուներին կոչ են արել դադարեցնել խուլիգանական արարքները և չվնասել ազգային թիմին։ Հիշեցնենք, որ Եվրոպայի առաջնության ընթացքում բազմաթիվ անկարգություններով աչքի ընկած անգլիացի երկրպագուները խմբային փուլի առաջին՝ Ռուսաստանի դեմ խաղից հետո ծեծկռտուք էին սարքել մրցակցի երկրպագուների հետ։ ՈւԵՖԱ-ն հայտարարել է, որ խուլիգանությունների շարունակման դեպքում երկու հավաքականներն էլ կարող են հեռացվել մրցաշարից։
