«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «ՀՀ հատուկ քննչական ծառայությունում ՀՀ ոստիկանության Վարդենիսի բաժնի պետ Համլետ Ղամբարյանի դեմ օրերս երկրորդ բողոքն է ներկայացվել: Առաջին բողոքը վերաբերում է դեռեւս 2015 թվականի հուլիսի 28-ին Վարդենիսում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպին, որի ընթացքում Վարդենիսի բնակիչներ Հակոբ Թովմասյանը եւ նրա որդին՝ Թովմաս Թովմասյանը, մի կաթիլ մեղրի մոտիվներով զարգացած իրադարձության արդյունքում ոստիկանների կողմից ծեծի էին ենթարկվել:

Այս դեպքի հետ կապված Թովմասյանների ներկայացրած հաղորդման հիման վրա ՀՔԾ-ում քրեական գործ էր հարուցվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 308-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի եւ 309-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի հատկանիշներով (պաշտոնեական լիազորություններն անցնելը, չարաշահելը): Սակայն այս տարվա մատին ոստիկանապետին եւ քննիչներին պատժելու գործը կարճվեց:

Օրերս էլ ոստիկանության Վարդենիսի բաժնի ղեկավարության դեմ նոր բողոք է ներկայացվել մեկ այլ քրգործով կեղծ ցուցմունք կորզելու վերաբերյալ: Քաղաքացի Ռազմիկ Գեւորգյանը բողոքել է, որ իրեն ճնշել են Վարդենիսի ոստիկանապետ Ղամբարյանն ու Գեղարքունիքի մարզային վարչության պետի տեղակալ Տիգրան Հակոբյանը՝ ստիպելով ցուցմունք գրել իր քեռու դեմ: Ու հենց այդ ցուցմունքի հիման վրա էլ քեռին ձերբակալվեց»:
