 ԵՄ-ն հորդորում Է դուռը բաց պահել Ռուսաստանի հետ երկխոսության համար, չնայած պատժամիջոցներին: Այդ մասին հայտարարել Է Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան Կլոդ Յունկերը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Պետերբուրգի միջազգային տնտեսական համաժողովի հանդիսավոր բացմանը, տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը՝հղում անելով ՏԱՍՍ-ին:   

«Ես միշտ հավատում եմ երկխոսության ուժին,-ասել Է նա:-Պետք Է խոսել, չնայած պատժամիջոցներին, դուռը բաց թողնել երկխոսության համար»:

Անհրաժեշտ Է, որ եվրոպական երկրները երկխոսություն վարեն Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության ղեկավարության եւ ժողովրդի հետ,  հավելել Է Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահը:

Յունկերը նշել Է, որ մոտ օրերս եվրոպացի քաղաքական գործիչները մի շարք կարեւոր միջոցառումներ են անցկանելու: «Մենք երկար ժամանակ Է՝ քննարկում ենք մեր փոխհարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի հետ,-ասել Է նա:-Կարեւոր Է խոսել Ռուսաստանի հետ, նրա ղեկավարության եւ ժողովրդի հետ: Ոմանց այդ միտքը արմատական Է թվում, բայց ինձ համար դա առողջ բանականություն Է»:
