Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում Հայաստանի դիրքորոշումը չի փոխվել: ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Մենք հակամարտության բացառապես խաղաղ կարգավորման կողմնակիցն ենք, որի առանցքը պետք է լինի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքը»,- ընդգծեց Շարմազանովը:

Անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանի նախագահի աշխատակազմի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Նովրուզ Մամեդովի հայտարարություններին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում կայացած եռակողմ հանդիպման արդյունքների վերաբերյալ` Շարմազանովը նշեց, որ Մամեդովը, հավանաբար, երազ է տեսել:

«Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը շատ արագ արձագանքել է այդ հայտարարությանը: Այսօր էլ Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարարությունն է բավականին կոշտ արձագանք ներկայացրել այդ հայտարարության հետ կապված: Ռուսաստանի արտգործնախարարությունը կամայական է որակել այդ հայտարարությունները և կոչ է արել առաջնորդվել Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում կայացած հանդիպման արդյունքներով տարածված համատեղ հայտարարությամբ: Այսօրվա հայտարարությունը վկայում է այն մասին, որ Բաքուն սուտ է խոսում: Սա ասում էենք ոչ թե մենք, այլ պաշտոնական Մոսկվան»,- ասաց Շարմազանովը:

Շարմազանովը հավելեց, որ ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը նիստի ընթացքում ներկայացրել է իր այցի մանրամասները ԼՂՀ: Նա ընդգծեց, որ Արցախում խաղաղությունը պահպանվում է, իսկ ՀՀ նախագահը` որպես Արցախի անվտանգության երաշխավոր, ևս մեկ անգամ այցելել է Արցախ,  ծանոթացել իրադրությանը:
