Ֆրանցիսկոս Սրբազան Պապի  այցը Հայաստան  հայ կաթողիկեների համար մեծ ուժ է:«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ ունեցած զրույցի ժամանակ նշեց Կենտրոնական Ռուսաստանի և  Մոսկվայի հայ կաթողիկեների ժողովրդապետ հայր Պետրոս  վարդապետ Եսայանը:  

«Բոլորիս համար դա մեծ ուրախություն է և Աստծո կողմից մեծ պատիվ, որ Սուրբ Պետրոսի հաջորդը՝ եկեղեցու գլուխը, Քրիստոսի փոխանորդը մեր մեջ է գտնվում: Զգալ Տիեզերական եկեղեցու և Սրբազան քահանայապետի հետ այդ կապը մեզ համար մեծ շնորհ է: Բոլոր կաթողիկեների համար սա հայրական այցելություն է և մենք ցնծում ենք ուրախությունից: Դա հաստատումն է նաև  մեր հավատքի մեջ: Սա առիթ է մեր քահանայապետի խոսքը լսել. մենք հեռու ենք Հռոմից և այստեղ փոքրամասնություն ենք, ուստի, Պապի այցելությունը կաթողիկե ինքնության համար մեծ ուժ է»,-նշեց հայր Պետրոս ը՝ վստահեցնելով, որ Ֆրանցիսկոս Սրբազան Պապը սիրված է ոչ միայն կաթողիկներից, այլ ողջ հայ ազգից:

«Սրբազան Պապն էլ  մեծ  սեր է տածում հայ ժողովրդի հանդեպ, ինչը Սրբազան  Պապն  արեց անցած տարի՝ ոչ մեկը չարեց. 100 տարվա ընթացքում մեր ձայնը լսելի չէր, իր ձայնը լսելի դարձավ և իր պաշտպանության միջոցով մենք ևս զգացինք իր հայրական դիրքը, խնամքն ու սերը: Ինձ թվում է՝ Քրիստոսի փոխանորդի այցը Հայաստան կզորացնի նաև մեր առօրյա, կենդանի հավատքը, այլ ոչ միայն պատմականորեն հպարտանալու առիթը կտա»,-հավելեց Հայր Պետրոսը:

Սրբազան քահանայապետի պատարագին մասնակցելու նպատակով Հայաստանում գտնվող Կենտրոնական Ռուսաստանի և Մոսկվայի հայ կաթողիկեների ժողովրդապետն առանձնացրեց նաև Պապի Գյումրի այցը: «Գյումրին Հայաստանի «թույլ» տեղը կարելի է համարել՝ աղքատ է, իսկ Պապը սիրում է աղքատներին, և այս այցը  հպարտություն է գյումրեցու համար, քանի որ այս անգամ Քրիստոսի փոխանորդը գալիս է տեսնելու, ուժ ու հույս տալու գյումրեցիներին, դրա համար գյումրեցիների  աչքերի մեջ ուրախություն եմ տեսնում»,-նշեց  հայր Պետրոս  վարդապետ Եսայանը՝ փաստելով, ո ր այս այցով միասնականության ու քրիստոնեկան հավատքի զորացում են բոլորը ստանալու:
