Brexit-ի առաջացրած ալիքը կհարվածի նաև Մեծ Բրիտանիային

Հեռու չէ այն օրը, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի՝ ԵՄ-ն լքելու որոշումը նոր մարտահրավերների առաջ կկանգնեցնի այդ գերտերությանը: Խնդիրն այն է, որ Brexit-ի օգտին քվեարկածները, թեև այս օրերին իրենց հաղթանակն են տոնում, սակայն այն նոր հարցադրումներ է առաջացնում ոչ միայն երկրի սահմաններից դուրս, այլ հենց երկրում: Խնդիրն այն է, որ Brexit-ի առաջացրած շղթայական ռեակցիայից որոշել են օգտվել նաև Շոտլանդիայի իշխանությունները, քանի որ առանց երկմտելու կրկին հայտարարել են Միացյալ Թագավորությունից դուրս գալու իրենց անփոփոխ ցանկության մասին:

Հիշեցնենք, որ 2014թ. հանրաքվեի արդյունքում շոտլանդացիների 50 տոկոսից ավելին քվեարկել էր Միացյալ Թագավորության կազմում մնալու օգտին, որի արդյունքում Շոտլանդիան չկարողացավ անկախություն հռչակել: Չնայած քվեարկության արդյունքները բողոքի մեծ ալիք առաջացրեցին երկրում, սակայն դրանք առանձնապես չազդեցին երկրի վրա, և Շոտլանդիան մնաց Մեծ Բրիտանիայի կազմում: Ներկայում Շոտլանդիայի իշխանությունների համար նոր հնարավորություն է ստեղծվել անկախություն հռչակելու հարցը կրկին բարձրացնելու համար: Ու կարծես այս անգամ նրանք բրիտանական լծից ազատվելու ռեալ շանսեր ունեն:

Շանսերն ավելացան այն բանից հետո, երբ պարզ դարձավ, որ շոտլանդացիների մեծ մասը դեմ է քվեարկել Brexit-ին, այսինքն՝ նրանք ցանկություն են հայտնել մնալ ԵՄ-ի կազմում, սակայն նրանց այդ ցանկությունն իրականություն չի դարձել, քանի որ վարչակառավարչական առումով Շոտլանդիան անկախ չէ և չի կարող ինքնուրույն տնօրինել իր ճակատագիրը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորությունը բաղկացած է չորս երկրից՝ Անգլիայից, Հյուսիսիային Իռլանդիայից, Շոտլանդիայից և Ուելսից, սակայն, լինելով ունիտար պետություն, նրանք գործում են նույն սահմանադրական միապետության և պառլամենտական համակարգում:

Միջազգային վերլուծաբանների կարծիքով՝ այս անգամ Շոտլանդիային կհաջողվի հասնել անկախության հռչակման, քանի որ այս անգամ արդեն նրանց ձեռք կմենկնեն նաև ԵՄ առանցքային երկրները: Փաստորեն, չի բացառվում, որ երկար տարիներ անսասան մնալուց հետո ականատես կլինենք նաև Միացյալ Թագավորությունում վաղուց առաջացած ճաքերի խորացմանը, այն է՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի մասնատմանը, ինչը դժվար էր նախկինում պատկերացնել, նույնիսկ ամենավառ երևակայություն ունենալու դեպքում:

Դե ինչ, կարծես ժամանակը հասունացել է՝ հասկանալու համար, որ ազգերի ինքնորոշմանն այլընտրանք լինել չի կարող, իսկ «տարածքային ամբողջականություն» ասվածը դարձել է հնաոճ ու մերժելի երևույթ նույնիսկ ողջ քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհի համար:
