Եվրոպայի ղեկավարները Բրյուսելում ԵՄ-ի գագաթնաժողովում հունիսի 28-ին անկեղծ ու բաց քննարկումներ են անցկացրել Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հարցի շուրջ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, լույս հունիսի 29-ի գիշերը կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսում հայտնել է Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ժան Կլոդ Յունկերը:

«Քանի դեռ գրավոր ծանուցում չի ստացվել ԵՄ-ից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու վերաբերյալ, բանակցություններ չեն լինի: Ես Եվրահանձնաժողովի անդամներին, դիրեկտորատների ղեկավարներին, Հանձնաժողովի անդամներին ասացի, որ նրանք չպետք է փորձեն բանակցությունների մեջ մտնել, քանի դեռ մենք ծանուցում չենք ստացել»,- նշել է Յունկերը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ կարելի է հասկանալ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնին, որ նրան ժամանակ է հարկավոր խորհրդածելու համար, քանի որ նա հանդես էր գալիս Մեծ Բրիտանիան միության մեջ պահելու օգտին:

«Բայց ինձ համար հասկանալի չԷ, որ նրանք, ովքեր ցանկանում էին հեռանալ, լիովին անընդունակ են ասել մեզ, թե ինչ են իրենք ցանկանում: Նրանք արշավ անցկացրեցին Միացյալ Թագավորության դուրս գալու օգտին, իսկ այժմ ասում են, թե իրենց ժամանակ է հարկավոր»,- հավելել է Յունկերը:

Նա նաեւ հույս է հայտնել, որ «ապագա բրիտանական կառավարությունից ծանուցումը կստացվի հնարավորինս շուտ», հաղորդել է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
