Այսօր կառավարության կողմից հրավիրված արտահերթ նիստում քննարկվում էր ՀՕՊ համաձայնագրի վավերացման հարցը, որի ժամանակ ելույթ ունեցավ Զարուհի Փոստանջյանը՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանն աստիճանաբար վերածվում է Ռուսաստանի «գուբերնիայի»` չօգտագործելով իր դիվանագիտական այլընտրանքները՝ Իրանի հետ սերտ համագործակցություն հաստատելու հնարավորությունը:

«Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Զարուհի Փոստանջյանի ելույթին արձագանքեց ԱԺ նախագահի տեղակալ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: Նա նշեց, որ ՀՕՊ համաձայնագիրը վավերացնում են, ինչը բխում է Հայաստանի շահերից: Նրա համոզմամբ՝ կա բացահայտ ճշմարտություն, որ Հայաստանի նման երկրները պետք է դաշնակցեն այն երկրների հետ, որոնք տարածաշրջանում բանակ ունեն:

«Մենք պետք է դաշնակցենք Ռուսաստանի հետ, մեր միջեւ դաշնակցային հարաբերությունները ռազմավարական են, դաշնակցային ու երկարաժամկետ: Ռուսաստանի ու Թուրքիայի շահերն ինչքան էլ համընկնեն, երկարաժամկետ կտրվածքով նրանք հակառակորդներ են»:

Արձագանքելով Զարուհի Փոստանջյանի այն հայտարարությանը, թե ՀԱՊԿ-ը Հայաստանին ոչինչ չի տվել, ԱԺ փոխնախագահը նշեց, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ը մեզ շատ բան է տվել. «ՀԱՊԿ մտել ենք` մեր պետական շահերից ելնելով, եւ այս համաձայնագրով սպառազինությունը ստանում ենք` նաեւ ՀԱՊԿ-ից ելնելով: Որեւէ պետություն, որեւէ ռազմաքաղաքական բլոկ այն պայմաններով, որով տրամադրում է Ռուսաստանը սպառազինություն, Հայաստանին չի տալիս: ՀԱՊԿ-ին անդամակցումը այընտրանք չունի»:
