 Հայ-ռուսական (սլավոնական) համալսարանում հունիսի 30-ից հուլիսի 9-ը տեղի կունենան ՄՀԻ ամառային դպրոցի և Մարդու իրավունքների միջազգային իրավունքի երկօրյա դասընթացներ: Դասընթացների հիմնական նպատակներն են՝ բարձրացնել ապագա իրավաբանների իրազեկությունը, ընդլայնել գիտելիքները տվյալ ոլորտում ու խթանել ամառային դպրոցների և նմանատիպ նախաձեռնությունների արդյունավետությունը:

 Հունիսի 30-ին կայացած բացման արարողությանը ելույթ ունենցան Հայ-ռուսական (սլավոնական) համալսարանիԻրավունքի և քաղաքականությանինստիտուտի տնօրեն ԼարիսաԱլավերդյանը, ՄԱԿ ՓԳՀ-ի ժամանակավորպաշտոնակատար Քեյթ Պոչապսկին, ԵԱՀԿերևանյան գրասենյակի մարդուիրավունքների հարցերովպատասխանատու Ռադկա Ռուբիլինան ևԵրևանում Եվրոպայի խորհրդի գրասենյակի ղեկավար Նատալյա Վուտովան:

Նատալյա Վուտովան նշեց, որ առաջին անգամ է նման ամառային դպրոց կազմակերպվում Հայ-ռուսական համալսարանում: «Մարդու իրավունքներին տիրապետելը շատ կարևոր է: Դրա համար պետք է նվիրենք մեր սիրտն ու հոգին: Ես համոզված եմ, որ ծրագրի ավարտին մասնակիցները ավելի շատ բան կիմանան մարդու իրավունքների, միջազգային իրավունքների, ինպես նաև փախստականների իրավունքների մասին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց  Վուտովան:

Քեյթ Պոչապսկու խոսքով՝ այսօր աշխարհում փախստականների խնդիրն ավելի արդիական է, քան նախկինում: «ՄԱԿ-ը, պետություններն ու հասարակական կառույցները ջանքեր են գործադրում հարկադիր տեղահանված մարդկանց խնդիրները լուծելու համար: Ամեն անգամ, երբ մենք աշխատում ենք փախստականների հետ, մեր առջև մի յուրահատուկ պատմություն է բացվում: Փախստականներն ունեն լավ, որակյալ իրավաբանական աջակցության կարիք, և իրավաբանները, անշուշտ, կարող են նրանց օգնել այս հարցում»,- ասաց Պոչապսկին:

Ամառային դպրոցի մասնակիցներից մեկը նշեց, որ դպրոցը ապագա իրավաբաններին բացառիկ հնարավորություն է տալիս ավելի լավ ծանոթանալու միջազգային իրավունքին և, հետևաբար, ավելի ճիշտ օգտագործելու մարդու և միջազգային իրավունքների նորմերը:
