Երևանում անցկացվեց ակնաբուժական 14-րդ միջազգային համաժողովը

Հայկական ակնաբուժության նախագծի (ՀԱՆ) 52-րդ բժշկական առաքելության շրջանակներում հուլիսի 1-ին Երևանում տեղի ունեցավ 14-րդ միջազգային ակնաբուժական համաժողովը՝ «Բժշկական կրթության, հիվանդների խնամքի և բուժման նոր ուղիներ» թեմայով: Այն մեկ հարկի տակ հավաքեց Հայաստանի և Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների ակնաբուժության տարբեր ոլորտների շուրջ հարյուր մասնագետների՝ խթանելու ակնաբուժությանը վերաբերող տարբեր բնագավառներում տեղեկատվության և փորձի ակտիվ փոխանակումը: Համաժողովը կազմակերպվել էր ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարության, Հայկական ակնաբուժության նախագծի, Ս. Վ. Մալայանի անվան ակնաբուժական կենտրոնի և ՀՀ ակնաբույժների ասոցիացիայի գործակցությամբ:

«Շատ տպավորված եմ, որ համաժողովին զեկույցներով հանդես են գալու նաև երիտասարդ բժիշկներ: Վստահաբար նրանց շարքերում են այն մասնագետները, որոնք դառնալու են ՀԱՆ-ի նոր կրթական ծրագրի մասնակիցները,- ասաց ՀԱՆ հիմնադիր-նախագահ Ռոջեր Օհանեսյանը: - ՀԱՆ-ը սկսում է կրթական նոր նախաձեռնություն, որը կնպաստի խոստումնալից երիտասարդ ակնաբույժների շարունակական բժշկական կրթությանը և նրանց մասնագիտական աճին»:

ԵՊԲՀ ակնաբուժության ամբիոնի վարիչ, Մալայանի անվան ակնաբուժական կենտրոնի տնօրեն Ալեքսանդր Մալայանը ներկայացրեց Հայաստանում ակնաբուժության բնագավառի վերջին նվաճումները, իսկ Կայզեր Պերմանենտե-Անտելոպե Վելլի հիվանդանոցի տարածքային բժշկական տնօրենի տեղակալ Խոդամ Ռոստոմյանը (ԱՄՆ) ներկայացրեց Առողջապահության բարելավման ինստիտուտի փորձը և գործունեության ուղիները:

Համաժողովը մասնակիցներին հնարավորություն տվեց նաև ծանոթանալ գլաուկոմայի բուժման նոր երկու մոտեցմանը, որոնք ներկայացրեց ՀԱՆ հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի անդամ, Կալիֆորնիայի համալսարանի պատվո պրոֆեսոր Ռիչարդ Հիլը:

Հայ ակնաբույժների ներկայացրած զեկուցումները վերաբերում էին ակնաբուժության տարբեր նեղ մասնագիտական ոլորտների և հետաքրքիր քննարկումների հիմք դարձան: Համաժողովին ներկայացվեցին նաև ՀԱՆ-ի Աչքի շարժական հիվանդանոցի աշխատանքների արդյունքները, ՀԱՆ-ի և հայ ակնաբույժների շուրջ 25-ամյա բեղմնավոր համագործակցության գրանցած նշանակալի ձեռքբերումները:
