Թուրքիայում հեղաշրջման փորձը կայում է ոչ միայն թուրքական հասարակության, այլև բանակում առկա խորը պառակտման մասին:«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նման կարծիք հայտնեց ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, թուրքագետ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը՝ հավելելով, որ թուրքական հասարակությունը երբեք այսքան պառակտված և բևեռացված չի եղել: «Էրդող անն ու իր թիմն այնպիսի քաղաքականություն էին վարում, որը վտանգում էր թե Թուրքիայի ներքին իրավիճակը, թե այդ երկրի արտաքին հարաբերությունները»,- նշեց Սաֆրաստյանը՝ հենց այս պառակտումն էլ համարելով ստեղծված իրավիճակի հիմնական վտանգներից մեկը:

Թուրքագետի առանձնացրած մյուս վտանգն այն է, որ Էրդողանն ու նրա թիմակիցները տանում են երկիրը միանձնյա կառավարման՝ միաժամանակ առավել խորացնելով այն ծայրահեղ իսլամիստական ճահճի մեջ: «Թուրքիայի աշխարհիկ բնույթը վտանգվում է, իսկ այս հեղաշրջման փորձն էլ ապացուցեց, թե ինչքան խորն են այս երևույթները»,- ասաց Սաֆրաստյանը:

Անդրադառնալով թուրքական բանակի ներսում պառակտման խնդրին՝ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանն ընդգծեց, որ Էրդողանն ազդեցություն ունի և կարող է փոխել երկրի բարձրագույն գեներալիտետը, ինչն էլ արել է՝ այն համալրելով իսլամիստական գաղափարներին առավել հավատարիմ իր կողմնակիցներով: «Սակայն միջին ղեկավար կազմի վրա, որոնց կարող ենք պայմանականորեն անվանել գնդապետներ, նա միևնույն ազդեցությունը չունի: Հենց նրանք էլ ձեռնարկեցին հեղաշրջման այս փորձը»,- կարծում է թուրքագետը: Նա նաև հիշեցրեց, որ 1990-ականներին Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Նեջմեթին Էրբականը հնարավոր ություն ստեղծեց իմամ հաթիփների (կրոնական դպրոց) շրջանավարտների համար բանակում կարիերա անելու, ինչն էլ ձևավորեց բանակի ներսում իսլամիստներին հավատարիմ հատվածը: Սա էլ հիմք ստեղծեց բանակում պառակտման և ներկայիս հեղաշրջման փորձի ժամանակ էլ որոշ չհամաձայնեցված գործողությունների համար:

Խոսելով հեղաշրջման փորձի մեջ Էրդողանի կողմից չափավոր իսլամի գաղափարախոս Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենին ուղղված մեղադրանքների մասին՝ Սաֆրաստյանը նշեց, որ դրանք, թերևս, անհիմն են: «Բանակում Գյուլենին չեն սիրում, նրա ազդեցությունը տարածվում է առավել իրավապահ մարմինների, ոստիկանության և նման կառույցների վրա»,- ասաց թուրքագետը:
