Nintendo, The Pokémon Company և Niantic ընկերությունների հեղինակած Pokemon GO խաղը թողարկումից կարճ ժամանակ անց դարձավ շատ մասսայական և սիրելի: Կարճ ժամանակում խաղը համարվեց այս ամռան լավագույնը: Ու չնայած խաղի հեղինակները նախատեսել էին թողարկել խաղը շատ քիչ երկրներում, ամբողջ աշխարհում գտան տարբերակ՝ խաղը բեռնելու և խաղալու համար:

Խաղալու համար iOS-ի օգտատերերը պետք է փոխեն իրենց Apple ID-ի տվյալները: Կարգավորումների բաժնից պետք է փոխել տարածաշրջանը և նշել Նոր Զելանդիա, ԱՄՆ կամ Ավստրալիա տարբերակները:

Android օպերացիոն համակարգի օգտատերերը պետք է պարզապես կարգավորումներում թույլ տան տեղադրել ֆայլեր անծանոթ աղբյուրներից:
