Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության միջազգային ճանաչմանը հասնելու համար մշակված է բազմաստիճան քաղաքականություն, որը սկսվում է քաղաքային ու շրջանային մակարդակներից, ինչից հետո նպատակ կա դուրս գալու նաև համապետական մակարդակի:

Այս մասին Lenta.ru կայքի հետ հարցազրույցում աս ել է ԼՂՀ նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը: Նա հիշեցրել է, որ այդ հարթությունում արդեն իսկ զգալի առաջընթաց է արձանագրվել:

«Այսպես, մեր պետության ճանաչման օգտին համապատասխան հռչակագրերով են հանդես եկել Մասաչուսեթս, Ռոդ Այլենդ, Մեն, Լուիզիանա, Կալիֆորնիա, Ջորջիա, Հավայան կղզիներ ամերիկյան նահանգները, ավստրալական Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգը, Բասկերի Երկիրը, ինչպես նաև մի շարք առանձին խոշոր քաղաքներ, ինչպիսին է Լոս Անջելեսը: Մենք շարունակում ենք ընդլայնել մեր գործունեությունն այս ուղղությամբ, և, հույս ունեմ, տարբեր երկրների առանձին տարածքային միավորներ ևս կճանաչեն մեր անկախությունը»,- ասել է Բակո Սահակյանը:

Նա շեշտել է, որ, բնականաբար, հատուկ շեշտը դրվում է առանձին երկրների կողմից ճանաչման վրա: «Ավելին, կարծում ենք, որ դա ընդամենը ժամանակի ու քրտնաջան աշխատանքի հարց է: Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունն իրոք արժանի է միջազգային ճանաչման: Մենք մոտ քառորդ դար ժողովրդավարական պետություն ենք կառուցում, որը վտանգ չի ներկայացնում միջազգային հանրության, կամ ցանկացած առանձին վերցված պետության համար»,- հավելել է ԼՂՀ նախագահը:

Բակո Սահակյանն ընդգծել է, որ իրենք ուշադրությամբ հետևում են աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններում ազգերի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի իրացման գործընթացներին: Անկախության են հասել այնպիսի երկրներ, ինչպիսիք են Կոսովոն, Հարավային Սուդանը, Աբխազիան, Հարավային Օսիան, ինքնորոշման իրավունքից են օգտվել Քվեբեկը, Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիան, Շոտլանդիան, Ղրիմը:

«Բոլորովին վերջերս Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ժողովուրդը ինքնորոշվեց Եվրամիության կազմում իր ապագայի հարցում: Այս օրինակներից յուրաքանչյուրը, անկախ արդյունքից, հանդես է գալիս որպես կարևոր իրավա-քաղաքական նախադեպ միջազգային իրավունքի հիմնարար սկզբունքի՝ ազգերի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի պրակտիկ իրացման համար: Պաշտոնական Ստեփանակերտը նպատակաուղղված աշխատանք է իրականացնում ԼՂՀ անկախության ճանաչման ուղղությամբ, և վերջին տարիներին այս գործընթացն ավելի է ակտիվացել»,- եզրափակել է ԼՂՀ նախագահը:
