Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ հուլիսի 15-ին երկրում տեղի ունեցած ռազմական հեղաշրջման ձախողված փորձի հետ կապված հեղաշրջմանը մասնակցության մեղադրանքով ընդհանուր առմամբ 10,4 հազար ձերբակալություն է իրականացվել:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը, Rueters-ին տված հարցազրույցում Էրդողանը հայտնել է, որ ռազմական հեղաշրջման ջանքերի արդյունքում զոհվել է 246, վիրավորվել 2185 մարդ: Նրա խոսքով` ձերբակալվածներից 4 հազարը զինվորականներ են, որոնց թվում` 103-ը գեներալներ: Նա ասել է, որ Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերում նոր կառուցվածք է ստեղծվելու: Էրդողանի կարծիքով` երկրում երեք ամսով հայտարարված արտակարգ դրության ժամկետը լրանալուց հետո նրա երկարացման համար ոչ մի խոչընդոտ չկա: Էրդողանը նաեւ չի բացառել սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների անցկացումը:

Թուրքական կառավարության որոշումով հուլիսի 15-ը երկրում հայտարարվել է  2016 թվականի հուլիսի 15-ի ռազմական հեղաշրջման ժամանակ զոհվածների հիշատակի օր:Թուրքիայի փոխվարչապետ Նուման Քուրթուլմուշը հայտնել է, որ Թուրքիայում հուլիսի 21-ից հայտարարված եռամսյա արտակարգ դրության ժամանակաշրջանում երկրում առկախվում է Եվրոպայի մարդու իրավունքների կոնվենցիան:Հուլիսի 15-ի երեկոյան մի խումբ խռովարարներ Թուրքիայում ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձ են ձեռնարկել: Խռովարարները իրենց հսկողության տակ են առել մի շարք ռազմավարական օբյեկտներ Անկարայում եւ Ստամբուլում, բայց մի քանի ժամ հետո խռովությունը ճնշվել է: Թուրքիայում ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձի հետ կապված 30 նահանգապետեր հեռացվել են պաշտոններից:        

«Անատոլու» լրատվական գործակալությունը հաղորդել է, որ ձախողված հեղաշրջման փորձից հետո Թուրքիայի վարչապետի աշխատակազմի 257 աշխատակիցներ պաշտոններից հեռացվել են, առգրավվել է նաեւ նրանց ունեցվածքը: Ռազմական հեղաշրջման հետ կապված Թուրքիայում արդեն աշխատանքից հեռացվել են 50 հազարից ավելի պետական չինովնիկներ:Գործակալությունը հաղորդել է, որ պաշտոններից ազատ են արձակվել նաեւ Թուրքիայի կրոնական գործերով նախարարության 492 եւ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության 100-ից ավելի աշխատակիցներ:  

Նշվում է, որ բոլոր նրանք զբաղեցրած պաշտոններից հեռացվել են արդի իսլամի քարոզիչ Ֆաթուլլահ Գյուլենի «Հիզմեթ» շարժման հետ կապեր ունենալու համար, որին Անկարան մեղադրում է երկրում ռազմական հեղաշրջում կազմակերպելու մեջ:
