Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն ուշադիր հետևում է Խորենացու փողոցի իրադարձություններին` հուսալով, որ կգտնվի հանգուցալուծումը և հաշվի կառնվի հարգանքը մարդու կյանքի և արժանապատվության նկատմամբ:

Այս մասին նշեց ԿԽՄԿ հայաստանյան գրասենյակի հաղորդակցման ծրագրերի ղեկավար Զառա Ամատունին՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ ԿԽՄԿ հայաստանյան պատվիրակությունը մերժել է քաղաքացիական ակտիվիստների խմբի կողմից կազմակերպությանն ուղղված երկու դիմումները, որոնցում նրանք խնդրում էին, որպեսզի ԿՄԽԿ-ն միջազգային կառույցի կարգավիճակով ներգրավվի ՊՊԾ գնդում կատարվող գործընթացներին:

«Մենք ուշադիր հետևում ենք Խորենացի փողոցում կատարվող իրադարձություններին` հուսալով, որ կգտնվի հանգուցալուծումը և հաշվի կառնվի հարգանքը մարդու կյանքի և արժանապատվության նկատմամբ: ԿԽՄԿ-ն, 1992 թվականին հիմնվելով Հայաստանի, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի, Ադրբեջանի տարածքում, իրականացնում է իր մարդասիրական առաքելությունը՝ կապված Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության հետ:

Այստեղ մեր ուշադրության կենտրոնում են մի շարք հարցեր, որոնք վերաբերում են անհայտ կորած անձանց, նրանց ընտանիքներին, պատերազմից տուժածներին, ռազմագերիներին, միջազգային սահմանի, շփման գծու մ ապրող մարդկանց, ինչպես նաև՝ մարդու միջազգային իրավունքների խթանման հարցերը: Այն ժամանակ, երբ իրավասու կլինենք, եւ կիրառելի կլինի մեր աշխատանքների շրջանակը, մենք կներգրավվենք այս գործընթացներում»,- ասաց Զառա Ամատունին:

Նա նաեւ տեղեկացրեց, որ Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն ներքին զինված ընդհարումների շրջանակներում, նորից լինելով կողմերի միջև երկխոսության մեջ, կարողանում է ներկայացնել և գործել որպես միջնորդ, ինչպես օրինակ Սիրիայում եւ Եմենում: «Օրինակ` ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության շրջանակում Կարմիր Խաչը ներգրավվում է որպես չեզոք, երրորդ կողմ, որը երկխոսություն է վարում իշխանությունների հետ՝ ուշադրության կենտրոնում պահելով մարդասիրական հարցերը: Կարող է լինել ոչ միջազգային հակամարտություն՝ ներքին զինված ընդհարումներ, որոնց շրջանակում այն նույնպես կարող է գործել որպես միջնորդ: Ներքին զինված ընդհարումների, քաղաքացիական պատերազմների ժամանակ կազմակերպությունն ունի աշխատանքի իր մանդատը և կարող է կատարել միջնորդի իր դերակատարումը »,-նշեց Զառա Ամատունին:
