 Լիտվայում ՀՀ դեսպան Տիգրան Մկրտչյանը հուլիսի 29-ին հանդիպում է ունեցել Կլայպեդայի քաղաքապետ Վիտաուտաս Գրուբլյաուսկասի հետ։

Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ ԱԳՆ մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը քննարկել են Հայաստանի և Լիտվայի միջև ապակենտրոնացած համագործակցության հնարավորությունները, Կլայպեդայի և Հայաստանի քաղաքների միջև փորձի փոխանակումը տնտեսության զարգացման, զբոսաշրջության աճի ապահովման, մշակութային կապերի հաստատման, ծառայությունների մատուցման և այլ բնագավառներում։

Քաղաքապետի խնդրանքով դեսպանը ներկայացրել է Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների և դրանց լուծման ուղիների վերաբերյալ Հայաստանի մոտեցումները:

Նույն օրը դեսպան Մկրտչյանը հանդիպել է Կլայպեդայի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներին: Հանդիպման ընթացքում դեսպանը շնորհավորել է Ալբերտ Ալբերտյանին՝ Կլայպեդայի հայ համայնքի ղեկավար ընտրվելու կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթելով հաջողություն իր գործունեության ընթացքում: Տիգրան Մկրտչյանը ներկայացրել է ՀՀ արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթությունները, պատասխանեց ներկաներին հուզող հարցերին։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաև դեսպանության և համայնքային կառույցների միջև համագործակցության հեռանկարները։
