Շվեյցարիան Բրյուսելին պաշտոնապես տեղեկացրել է Եվրամիությանն անդամակցության շուրջ իր հայտը հետ կանչելու մասին:

ՏԱՍՍ-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հայտարարել է Շվեյցարիայի ԱԳ դաշնային դեպարտամենտի ղեկավար Դիդիե Բուրկհալտերը՝ պարզաբանելով. խորհրդարանն ավելի վաղ կողմ է արտահայտվել հայտը հետ կանչելուն:

Նշենք, որ հայտը ներկայացվել է 1992 թվականին: «Մենք երկկողմ համաձայնագիր ունենք մեր ամենամոտ գործընկերոջ՝ Եվրամիության հետ, բայց մենք չենք ցանկանում անդամակցել կառույցին»,- Վալորբ քաղաքում Շվեյցարական Հաադաշնության հիմնադրման 725-ամյակի տոնակատարության ժամանակ հայտարարել է Բուրկհարտերը:

Հունիսի 15-ին հայտը հետ կանչելու օգտին հանդես է եկել շվեյցարական խորհրդարանի Ստորին պալատը՝ հաստատելով մարտին Ազգային խորհրդի կողմից ընդունած նույնանման որոշումը:
