Նորաթուխ ծնողներ Մելիսան և Սայմոնը երջանկությունից կորցրել էին իրենց, երբ լույս աշխարհ էր եկել փոքրիկ Վիկտորյան: Բայց նրանք չէին էլ կարող պատկերացնել, որ մի քանի ժամ հետո իրենց կյանքն իսկական դժոխքի է վերածվելու. փոքրիկին գողացել են հենց ծննդատնից:

Մի կին բուժքույր է ձևացել և ասել է, որ փոքրիկին պետք է պրոցեդուրաների տանի, և, վերցնելով աղջկան, գնացել է անհայտ ուղղությամբ: Բարեբախտաբար, նրա դեմքը պահպանված է եղել անվտանգության տեսախցիկներում:

Առանց րոպե կորցնելու ոստիկանության աշխատակիցները տարածել են փոքրիկի միակ լուսանկարը, իսկ աղջկա հայրիկը նկարներ է հրապարակել համացանցում՝ հույս ունենալով, որ ինչ-որ մեկը տեսած կլինի փոքրիկին կամ կնոջը և կիմանա, թե որտեղ է նա գտնվում:

Չորս երիտասարդներ որոշեցին օգնել փոքրիկ Վիկտորյայի որոնման աշխատանքներին: Տղաները շրջում էին ողջ թաղամասով և ցույց էին տալիս առևանգող կնոջ լուսանկարը՝ ցանկանալով պարզել՝ արդյո՞ք ինչ-որ մեկը տեսել է նրան:
