Ադրբեջանի հետ ռազմական եւ ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցության ծրագիրը ճշտում Է պահանջում: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հղում անելով ՏԱՍՍ-ին, հայտարարել Է Ռուսաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Սերգեյ Շոյգուն այդ երկրի ռազմական գերատեսչության ղեկավար Զաքիր Հասանովի հետ կայացած բանակցությունների ընթացքում:

«Կարծում եմ՝ այսօր մենք հնարավորություն կունենանք քննարկելու անվտանգության վիճակն այս տարածաշրջանում եւ Մերձավոր Արեւելքի տարածաշրջանում: Բացի այդ, մենք ունենք ռազմական ու ռազմական համագործակցության մեծ ծրագիր, որը նույնպես սրբագրում Է պահանջում եւ մի շարք հարցերի լուծում: Վստահ եմ, որ մենք կգտնենք այդ հարցերի լուծումը»,-ասել Է Շոյգուն:

Նա նաեւ նշել Է, որ մտադիր Է քննարկել անվտանգության գծով համագործակցությունը Կասպից ծովի ջրատարածքում: «Եվ այստեղ, իհարկե, հուսով ենք, որ այն պլաններն ու ծրագրերը, որոնք մեր կողմից պատրաստվել են անցյալ տարի, ամբողջությամբ կիրագործվեն»,-հավելել Է ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարարը:

Իր հերթին Հասանովն ընդգծել Է, որ Շոյգուի այցը «մեծ նշանակություն ունի երկկողմ ռազմական ու ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցության համար»:

Շոյգուն Բաքու Է ժամանել օգոստոսի 14-ին, Ադրբեջանում նրա աշխատանքային այցն սկսել Է հանրապետության նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի հետ կիրակի կայացած հանդիպմամբ:
